Heyo, my name is Rey, and I’m a STEM student from the UK! 

I am Bisexual, neurodivergent/neurospicy (autistic, dyslexic, GAD/General Anxiety Disorder, disasterly dyspraxic, and  probably also ADHD???? — I guess I needed to be a bit of everything lmao), and a friend to all (unless you piss me off and I get really stubborn and frustrated with you 😅 sorry 😭). This is a safe space for anyone, so, uh, don’t be a bitch please :) 

I once watched a video that said a girl failure is someone, who can’t call someone without anxiety… I have never felt so called out in my life. 

I have been a massive skeleton clikie since I was nine, and live breathe sing Twenty One Pilots. (The only christianity I follow is the God in Self Titled and RegionalAtBest/Vessel because why are the religious songs the best tracks ever composed holy shit—)

I got into writing miraculous and VLD au’s when I was twelve years old, and have been writing fan-fiction ever since — although now most of my published works are Marvel/MCU and SWR fics. 😅 (I managed to age out of my miraculous phase (thank god) before season 4, and gave up on the VLD fandom after watching its toxicity from afar, and then the process of the fandom slowly dying off 🥲). Now looking for new fandoms because I have writing burnout. (yay /sarc) 

In COVID, I made a glee fan account on insta that later turned into a multi fandom account just for me to archive and delete everything 💀💀💀 but it also led me to start writing on ao3 under the same name (rain_cloudsx). I use scrivener, and a good portion of my unpublished fics never get past chapter two… and then the ones I do post, I still struggle to update… whoops? 😅

I was also a part of the “gay insta community” (is that a thing?) from (I want to say) 2020 to 2023, and was a main poster on a shared lgbtq+ account, so now I’ve wasted a portion of my brain remembering hundreds of niche terms and identities, which will never come up in a conversation again. 🤣🤣 (You have no idea how hard it was to stay silent and not correct a friend when she said demisexual was when you lose attraction to someone after getting to know them 😭😭 I couldn’t act like I’d memorised the entire asexual spectrum when I’m not ace-spec or aro-spec and instead was an autistic tryhard “educator” in my teens 😭😭😭). For a while I thought I could be genderflux, genderfluid, or at least somewhat agender/genderless, but I honestly don’t know anymore. She/her pronouns are good, I’ve always been fine with they/them, and occasionally, I like he/him — and this is regardless of if I’m a woman or agender, I genuinely do not care about pronouns. Right now, I just say I’m a woman because it’s easier, although I do somewhat still identify with the genderqueer, agender, and gender-fuck communities — I’m just not deep down in the activism and educating side of it anymore — the emotional burnout is real.

Well it was… something

I had my first valentines at uni, got more drunk than I ever have in my life (RIP me), and kissed a woman. I think she was two years older than me? I just liked her earrings 💀💀💀

The first time was awkward, and then she went in for more. I was too drunk to work out wtf to do with my body, so I just… uh… I just stood there. 🙈 I didn’t enjoy it and I doubt she did either. I was just like… oh… her lips are wet… I hope I don’t have an STD from kissing. 💀💀 That’s literally so unlikely what 😭😭😭😭

I wanted to crawl into a hole, and never come out.

Thank god she hasn’t texted me.

So, uh, I guess I’ll never forget my first valentines at uni.

What The Hell Tony?!

Hi, my name is Rey, yes, I’m very late to tumblr, but now I’m using it for self promo. Sue me. (Please don’t.) This is my latest Iron Dad Spider Son series! The next part is likely to come out in January, but I’ll need more ideas.

On and off for the last year, I’ve tried to start a series, where Dipper runs away from home, and meets Grunkle Stan without the presence of Mabel. Only, every time I tried to type out the words, I couldn’t capture the world how I wanted. Then, I realised something… I could write the series from Stan’s point of view. 

This is what you COULD have gotten: 

Dipper couldn’t remember a time where his world wasn’t grey. He wished he could pick up his sister’s crayons and colour between the lines, turning the ‘nothing’ around him into ‘something’, but her arts and crafts couldn’t help him like they helped her. Mabel knitted sweaters to protect herself, her pens were her swords and her stickers were her shields ; nothing dark could pass her glitter fortress. Dipper hid behind his books. The coldness slipped through his pages, creeping from the words to his fingers, until his body was numb to the feeling of being coated in frost. He used to shake whenever he heard the screams, the slaps, the smashing ; now he just stared at the wall. Life had been hell for so long that he was numb to it… almost. 

VS what you ACTUALLY got: 

His eyes wide, arms shaking, and hands gripping tightly about the wheel, he took a moment to regain his breath as he tried to comprehend what happened. He hadn’t almost hit of one Gravity Falls’ abnormal creatures, but a child. A shivering little fellow so fear stricken that he was almost having a heart attack. Stan’s hands fumbled for his seatbelt, and flung open the door.

The kid was young, his eyes held the kind of shattered youthfulness which could only be beaten into someone, and the way he clung onto the straps of his rucksack and duffle bag only proved Stan’s point. The boy, with fluffy brown hair, pale cheeks, and doe eyes that made him look awfully like a younger Shermie, was too young to go camping or stargazing alone. For a kid to be wandering around a woods as dangerous as Gravity Falls’ in the dark, the kid had to be desperate. Whatever or whoever they were fleeing from must have traumatised the poor fellow too much of a deal to ignore.

Zero Inspiration is a Bitch

I’ve been writing on ao3 for 4 years now (since Nov 2020 lol), and this year (excluding 2 months of the first), I have posted the least amount of new fics, and have the lowest word count.

Between 3 pseuds, I have 216 works (only 76% complete 💀). In 2021, my word count was 153,967, 123,980 in 2022, 165,435 in 2023, and currently 100,239 in 2024. I mean, it’s still a lot, but I’m behind by 60k. Maybe it’s because I got a life… but I’ve also struggled with inspiration this year.

I do like writing for large fandoms (*cough* Marvel/MCU, mostly Peter centric, occasionally Bucky/Steve or Clint/Phil), and I enjoy writing for SWR. The thing is… SWR is dead now… it was slowing dying, but now the hype for the Ahsoka series has come to an end, it is truly dead. Nowhere near the amount of fics r published per day like they were in 2018 (ah, the good times). I like writing for small fandoms where there’s a close supportive community, but dying fandoms don’t encourage the creativity in me.

Hence, I am looking for a new fandom. Might start a new pseud for it, or use my main like I usually do. I’ve searched all my drafts on notes and scrivener for fandoms I’ve taken interest in before, but have ultimately decided I don’t want to go back to any of them, and want to instead focus on a fresh new project.

Any suggestions please 🙏
