It’s weird to me how subject I am to my inspirations. I started this #painting almost 20 years ago. It’s based on my memory of my most #favoritespot in the world. I haven’t been there in years and my memory of the details get fainter as time rolls on. So this painting has sat just like this. I’ve looked at it not knowing what to do with it or how to continue until the other day. It hit me just so plainly of how to finish it that I’m annoyed with myself. Somehow I forgot to post this 🤔 I wonder how 🤫 April was #autismawareness month and in support of that I inadvertently created my own #oc #originalcharacter 😁 Meet “Koalaty Care Bear” 💙 he’s a bit different from other #carebears but he’s definitely not less. Of course in my normal fashion, the more I worked on this, more and more backstory was created. ☺️ I can’t wait to share more about him ... he’s so #sweet and #cute. 💙 I’ve been working on the colouring and also developing him with different mediums. Results of today’s #twitchcreative #livestream 💛 it’s looking more like a hut than part of a tree but once paired with the illustration I think it will be okay. I think it’s going pretty well for my first one. Still need to finish the leaves and add the rainbow, some more clouds, and “Koalaty Care Bear”. Cause: In the middle of colouring my “Elephant Playdate” illustration, 2 of my #alcoholmarkers went kaput.
