Sooo many of my plots for stories, webcomics, character design, art, Hell even Game Developing projects have come from various dreams I’ve had. Some will be full fledged movies! Like the other night I had a dream that a man was paid to write to the lover of his best friend because he wasn’t good with words but he fell in love with her instead over time while doing the writing, all taking place in a Jane Austen style movie was fun. Or the time I had a dream that was in a video game where these horrific looking eldritch angel abominations that had taken over a city that looked like New York but it was covered in plants and everything was shining yellow like gold light and you see the main character go through stuff like in Bioshock where people are going crazy from something called “The Drought” that’s plaguing the land. Also humans are a lower life forms that are grown from a garden and are made of stars. I know a few of my friends also have this quirk and it’s amazing to see it because their creativity is just so vast!! I love listening to them rant even if I have no idea what they’re talking about. We call it “Dream Theory” and actually wanted to make a Tumblr blog dedicated to just trying to map out our dreams, or letting people give us dreams and make up silly theories for them with only the context they give us. To all creators out there that dream up stuff and try to make it a reality, even if it’s just in a group chat where you rant about it, all the way to fulfilling the prophecy, I applaud you, you’re valid, you’re doing great sweetie, I hope to see your stuff one day. <3
