Scratch built cairn, Ringwraith for scale. Built it to get some background for more rustic undeads and #LotR horrors. Took inspiration from real world tumuli. Tested out long static grass - turns out I could've chosen even longer cut.

Rogue Marsokhods for ABC Warriors from Warlord Games.
I haven't painted anything 2000AD, much less ABC, in a hot minute, but I recently got a game of ABC in finally and it got me wanting to grab some more toys from the range.

Nord Jarl for Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings
My girlfriend wanted to get into this game, so I grabbed the Nords and she grabbed the Spires. I'm still building most of the kits, but I wanted to get this guy painted up

Vintage (chef kiss) Skavenslave champion. I know grey fur is usually reserved for Seers and command, but I like the look and don't own a brown spray (but I do own a grey spray!). With the way I'm painting them, the fur's a corner I'm willing to cut.
I love these old models so much.

Coming soon: 20 metallic lads with a command that is an absolute piss-off to rank

Mouse Progress. I need to find a classic command blister for these lads, I think. And maybe find some replacement shields, as they did not have them when they came to me.

This might well be the first miniature I ever painted. I don't have all my old models from back then anymore, but this lad's been with me for about 2 and a half decades. The paint's worn and chipped from multiple moves and questionable storage methods, but I'm really happy to see him again.

L-shaped ruins, the natural habitat of the Space Marine. Building these out of cardboard scraps is a time-honoured hobby tradition, so I figured I'd make one.

Terrain build: A eco-friendly, reusable 4-pack ring, a few empty antihistamine bottles, some bits and sprue from a 15mm Cobra helicopter kit, and some bases. I'm not 100% happy with the 'ladder', even if it is meant to look like it's just found scrap, but the rest is alright.
Graffiti cameo by @the-muppet-joker , as @lainebutt has been keeping me up to date on the lore. Figured I'd sneak in a little froogy

Four (4) mouses.
Doing rank and file minis one at a time is generally not the best idea for a uniform regiment, but I'm enjoying taking my time with these and learning a little with each

I fixed it
This model's not going to win any awards, but it's won my heart. I have a strong fondness for the 90s monopose plastics from GW, they're all beautiful miniatures that encompass the whimsical feel of classic WFB. And I hate assembling plastic kits. It's a miserable chore.
When I first got into Warhammer, and miniatures in general, as a young sprout, I was immediately drawn to the Skaven. They were little rat dudes, how cool is that? Sadly, for a child with not a massive amount of cash or patience, having undiagnosed ADHD, it was a Bad Choice and I ended up playing Orcs & Goblins for a bit after winning a boxed army in a raffle at a nearby GW (they used to do those). But, my love of Skaven has remained and, despite only every playing one game with a mostly unpainted army, I still dream of having a properly painted set to enjoy.
I'm going to redo the sword blade though.

Socks with sandals? Now I definitely know he's the bad guy!
Dr. Puke from Warlord's (sadly) discontinued Project Z range. I now have the full range apart from the Zombie Beast miniature.

Finnish sniper (no, not THAT Finnish sniper, I don't have that model) from Warlord Games. A test model before I start my first batch of Finnish.

@lainebutt bought me some dollar store toy soldiers as a gag. This one kinda looked like what would happen if you described Stalin to an alien who had never seen a human before. So I painted him as Stalin. Those eyes burrow deep into my soul.

UPDATE: My Nighthaunts went to a new home today. Always sad to let go, but I have no intention of playing them even if I did go back to AoS. The guy who bought them was pretty happy with the paint though, so I'm glad they're not destined for the paint stripper right away.
Nighthaunt speedpainting. This is about 5 hours of work that I did today on stream. A full Nighthaunt Execution Horde consisting of 1 Lord Executioner, 1 Scriptor Mortis, and 3 units of Spirit Hosts (9 models total).
I'm still getting used to crackle paints again and I applied the Mordant Earth a bit too thinly, so the lava patterning underneath isn't showing through as well as I'd hoped. Once I rim the bases, these are reasonably tabletop ready, but I'll probably go back to them tomorrow for some touchups.

Another terrain piece! The rocks are chunks of roughly-torn cork that were basecoated black, then overbrushed with Army Painter Uniform Grey, followed by a drybrush of Citadel Grey Seer. It's a good way to make greyish stone quickly and you can obviously swap those paints out depending on the types of rocks you're going for.
Gonna do up a few of these, I think, as they're really quick to make and look pretty nice on the table!
Also, I know I haven't posted all of them, but I did a rough count and I've painted (not counting terrain) a little over 300 individual miniatures THIS YEAR between troops and vehicles. Wow!
