Respawn Entertainment are working on a 3rd person Star Wars game. Yup...the same people that made Titanfall. Former Director of God of War 3, Stig Asmussen, will lead the project.  "We promise to pay respect to the Star Wars legacy at all times, a fact that will be constantly reinforced and honored as a central game design tenet...Fans should expect the exemplary level of quality first established at Respawn with Titanfall, a game that epitomizes our studio’s dedication to slick, larger-than-life action and fun, groundbreaking mechanics"

If you haven't heard, there has been leaks of the new COD called Infinite Warfare and it includes Modern Warfare Remastered. It appears that the standard edition is $79.99 (Wow...) and the legacy edition, which includes the new game and Modern Warfare remastered, is $109.99. Just reveal the game already. We all know the first trailer will be revealed on NBA Finals Week.

I know most of you guys are expecting an emotional wrap up, but sharing my feelings about today is very complex because magic is involved. Make believe. Fantasy. Kids believe in holiday representatives like Santa or favorite cartoon icons like Mickey Mouse. Me? I believed in super heroes back in the day. I was all about Spiderman, Ninja Turtles, and Power Rangers. When the years go by, you start to figure out the secrets. You unlock the truth. A time where my imagination was declining… Then a man in a gold and purple suit showed me what magic is really about. Full court pass from Robert Horry, catches it one hand, takes the ball behind his back, 2 steps, 360 facial dunk on Vincent Yarborough. That was the moment when I started to believe in super heroes again. If you asked me what’s the weirdest thing I’ve experience in my life so far, answer:  knowing someone really close for 20 years and never met the person (The closest I’ll ever get to him is 20-30 ft away). Probably doesn’t sound weird to you because I’m sure its common around the world, but the twist is the impact. Amazing how a ghost can take over my 20 years. I mean I’m that same kid staying after school at Craig Williams Elementary, trying to imitate his shots from his games with a soccer ball. Ever wonder why I rarely hang out after school during the Meadowdale Middle/High School days? I go straight to the closest elementary school and pull up shots till the sun is down. Whether it was Seattle rain or snow, I’m there trying to master Kobe’s post game. There are days where I just go straight home, head to the computer, go on Youtube and nonstop watching countless hours of Kobe highlights when I know I should be doing school homework (Then I end up doing all-nighters finishing my homework. THANKS KOBE). Sometimes I watch ONE video on repeat for hours. Branding his plays in my head so I can practice them over and over again. No different when I play NBA 2K.  I used to play NBA 2K online almost every single night with my cousin in LA and you know who I’m picking. Can you believe that? I pay 60 bucks every year to play 1 team and mostly use 1 player. You’ve guessed it! I play Kobe in 2K like he does in real life. It’s a virtual way of exercising my brain to practice Kobe’s moves. The best moments are his game nights and I know what he’s going to do with the ball is in his hands. I’m calling out the moves out loud before it happens and my brother just laughs in the corner saying “Really??” As if Kobe could hear me through the TV. This man alone taught me how to work hard, how to be selfish when it’s acceptable, how to step up and take the lead sing role, how to give it your all on any competition and how to thrive for mastery greatness. He was teaching me guys. I had an after school tutor/teacher/senpai. You guys have to know that Kobe and I…We’re the same. I’ve almost seen all of Kobe’s games in his entire career live whether it was aired nationally or illegally. Basically, it’s very rare that I was tardy for a Kobe game. So it’s tough to choose my favorite Kobe moment. All I can say is I was there when he won 3 championships over Reggie Miller, Allen Iverson and Jason Kidd. I was there when he scored 50+ points in 4 consecutive games and 40+ points in 9 consecutive games. I was there with my jaw dropped at his 81 point game. I was there at all his tough rivalry playoff games against Rockets, Spurs, Suns and Jazz. I was there when I saw Kobe’s game winner over the Suns “BANG!” I was there when he changed his number from 8 to 24. I was there rooting for him during the down years. I was there when he was winning All Star MVP’s. I was there watching his clutch game winners especially the 6 clutch shots he made in 2010. I was there when he jumped over an Ashton Martin and a pool of snakes. I was there when he wore the mask. I was there when dropped 61 at Madison Square. I was there when he clutched it for our country to get the gold (YUP THANK HIM AMERICA) I was there when he went to the Finals 3 consecutive years (again) and won 2 of them especially his last ring to get his revenge over the longtime rival, Celtics. I was there when he shot THOSE free throws on one foot. I was there when he was climbing the all-time scoring list and knocking off legends one by one. I was there when he surpassed Michael on that list. I was there when he called Dwight soft. I was there IN PERSON when he dropped 34 on the Celtics. Finally, I just witnessed the perfect sendoff…Kobe dropping 60 points with the game winner to close the book. I was there. Thank You, Kobe Bryant.
