Gaster and Alphys~

They're not as bad off as the rest of the underground because of their working with the core and being the first to receive the energy.

Alphys has scars from fighting off monsters trying to infiltrate the core to steal energy, and scars from experimenting with souls and other substances to try to get the core to generate energy.

Gaster is a mysterious man even in this timeline. He only appears in person to Asgore, Alphys, and Sans. Unlike in UNDERTALE, Gaster is very present in Withertale and the monsters throughout the underground tell rumors about him, expressing their fear of him and Alphys

Here's a mettaton!! One of my favorites I think. his 'box' robo body very rusted, and not so energetic and flashy, a bit like a dying flashlight, you know? And if he were ever to go into his EX or NEO form he would shut down immediately due to too much power consumption

She lost her arm during a fight with a human previous to Frisk. Alphys built her a robotic one, but it hasn't handled Waterfall's damp environment well, so it's rusty.

Toriel for Withertale!! Toriel in Withertale is the second character Frisk meets in the decaying Ruins, although blind and obviously flighty and anxious, she does her best to take care of Frisk until they leave the ruins, and enter the Underground.  Unlike in UNDERTALE, Toriel will offer Frisk Cinnamon Butterscotch Cookies, as she has run out of pie ingredients.

Yeah that makes sense!! Withertale is an alternate timeline. If we decide to mention the multiverse, Withertale takes place in the same universe as Undertale, just later. Frisk is about 12-15, but the underground is in pretty bad shape when they arrive.
