#I hate my full name and I neve use it and it’s been that way since sixth grade#it’s mostly because I was one of seven people by that name in my grade alone#I’ve gone by a nickname since#and even in all my gender fuckery I’m honestly fine with the nickname#I even had the option to legally change it and didn’t because my middle name honors a friend of my parents who died and I respect that#the middle name does not pair well with the nickname but works with the full name

streamed a Goosebumps game today where you get strangled by Jeff Goldblum dressed as Dracula
#okay but this game was absolutely incredible#I had it on pc and was so bad at it for a long time and kept getting stuck at this same point towards the end#there was this gas station fuel pump puzzle I just couldn’t get#the day I finally did was the day I beat the game#I remember it all VIVIDLY though#so the day I realized it was Jeff goldblum years later I was just like yeah that tracks?#btw this was a game aimed for kids and the characters absolutely could kill you like the video shows#the 90s/early 00s were a different time

can we also talk about how iwtv is literally the perfect queer show. It has every theme that the gays love. Blood, hunger as love, acceptance of monstrosity, doomed tragedy, psychological horror, ghost daughters, never being worthy of love, despair of the world, fuckable old men, bodies and houses as haunting, cunty outfits, constant performances, tension, always tension, the absolute ache of being in love. fuck me

genuinely though, I love lieve’tel just from a symbolic perspective. DEATH is patient, DEATH is kind. death isn’t going to answer any of your questions about “when” or “why” to your satisfaction even though you have them. cryptic motherfucker. she’ll wait thirty years with your name on her lips and then move on to the next beautiful soul—but that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten you. you’re still there in the back of her mind. death comforts those left behind to the best of her weak ability and does not mind as they rage at her. death is soft-spoken and swift to strike and her hands and cold and gentle. when you see her face, death is beautiful. best servant of the raven queen. knocking it out of the park with this one, mr. o’brien.

i think it's so beautiful that armand's love for daniel is canonically his salvation. his relationship with daniel is the reason why anne changed her mind about him being a villain (and siding with akasha in qotd iirc)
"years ago it wouldn't have mattered to me, all this... but i don't want it to end now. i don't want to continue unless you-- i don't want you to die."

shoutouts to Essek Thelyss who, seven years ago, didn’t have friends, barely had family (he trusted his brother but didn’t speak to him), who was cold and frustrated and selfish—who now has a family made up of his friends, who helps people he barely knows, who has reconnected with his brother such that they can rib each other without fear of the relationship souring, who has a home full of warmth and love.
shoutouts to Essek who is still awkward and abrasive at times, but who—even while living in secret—is more open and kind and willing to care.
I love him I love him

The thing is “My love becomes a vampire so I’ll become one too to stay with her” can’t hit the same anymore. It’s become just a “ooh being a vampire would be sexy!” or “yay we get to live forever!” romantic thing versus the most defiantly heretical devotion that would make the paper it was written on burn. There’s no “ooh~ vampires~” but rather being willing to join everything you fear and dread the most, that once shattered your mind to endure.
It also just can’t hit the same without that backdrop of severe Victorian social mores one dare not set a foot outside, and a lifetime of being bound by them. Or without the certainty that heaven is real, and you’re willing to bar yourself from it for eternity if your love isn’t granted entrance.
This is gothic Romance with a capital R at its pinnacle and I’m never going to stop thinking about it

And I have always said I am more than willing to go down the "Devil's Minion" route with Eric or Luke or both. It might be a nice parallel, alternate reality version to do a three-way. [Laughs]

My favorite part is that he’s so angry about being called boy, he misses that Louis says “our.”
Daniel "I'm not your fucking boy!' Molloy like:
Oh right, my bad; you're our BABY BOY, so sorry, my mistake
