Good Luck Charm;

Looking for a little pep in your karmic step? This super simple charm made with some household ingredients could you give you that extra energy oomph.

Materials: 

1 red, yellow, or green small bag 

1 piece of citrine 

1 yellow, red, or green candle 

Cinnamon (stick or powder) 

Allspice 

Rice 

Steps: 

Gather materials 

Put a layer of rice at the bottom of your satchel. 

Sprinkle a layer of allspice and cinnamon. Whilst sprinkling, visualize the prosperity, abundance, love, and good energy that you are sprinkling all over your life. 

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you fill the bag halfway. 

Once the bag is filled halfway place the citrine in the center visualizing the golden light emanating on every aspect of your life. 

After the citrine is place repeat steps 2 and 3 until the bag is full (but not stuffed. Give yourself some room to close the bag) 

At the end tie the bag with 3 distinct knots. 

On the first knot chant  I believe  On the second knot chant  I have  On the third knot chant  I am

Tips:

If you only have stick cinnamon pair it with the citrine at step #5

If you’re making your bag from scratch and sewing it together instead of tying it. After sewing together 95% of the bag give the bag 3 last stitches at step #7 instead of 3 knots. Make sure to run the thread over your lips to infuse your energy with the charm.

with yule coming around the corner and the days feeling darker and darker, i created this spread. to not only get a grasp on the year/myself as a whole but to see my growth and progress, and maybe see what changes i could make! i hope you all enjoy and get something out of this. it’s my first spread ive made haha so pls be gentle aha :,) blessed be 💛

1.) star - what has my life looked like this year?

i threw this in here just to get an overall picture of what things in your life have looked like without any bias. cards tell us how it is, so this ones to get a pure idea of yourself this year!

2.) branches - what are my greatest strengths?

what are things admirable about yourself? being aware of strengths in your life is so important, just knowing and confirming you yield some can apply some confidence!

3.) needles - what is one of my greatest weaknesses?

what is something that’s been holding you back this year? sometimes it’s hard to come to terms with and recognize things like this, hence why i included it in this spread.

4.) pine cone(s) - how can i make positive changes in the future?

how can you assure you’re staying on the right path? with the dark half of the year i feel not taking care of yourself and seasonal depression come knocking easier than we’d all prefer. this card is around to push you towards a good and positive path!

5.) trunk - what should i pay attention to in order to stay moving in a good direction?

how can you follow the light half of the year on a positive note? more sunshine is coming, this card is here to assure that more positive and kind things come to you!

Mercury in Retrograde: It feels like your brain has turned to mush. You can't remember how to hold a conversation. Your words and thoughts are no longer aligned with your mouth.

Dice Divination

How To

Draw a circle 7 inches in diameter on a piece of paper/card. Gently blow onto three dice while you think of your question shake the dice and throw them into the circle. Add up all the numbers on the dice

Superstition says to never cast the dice more than three times on the same day, and to never cast them on a Monday

When you find a heads up penny on the ground, put it in your right shoe and it will bring you good luck. Sometimes if the day was really lucky I’ll even keep the penny in my shoes for a few days, but never for too long! Weather witches, have a thing

(I don’t know if someone already talked about this but I haven’t seen any relevant post, so here goes)

Those are symbols used to describe what kind of clouds you’re seeing (actual symbols used by meteorologists, the pictures are from the Weather Prediction Center via Wikipedia)

You want some rain? No problem, the most common rain cloud is the nimbostratus so just pick its symbol (that’d be CM2), include it in a sigil, and you’re done

Storm is what feeds you? Then use the cumulonimbus symbol (CL9) and you’re ready!

You can also get more subtle and for example, use the symbol of the altocumulus, CM3, to create a mackerel sky that indicates a change of weather (usually towards rain or storm)

Birthday Spell

Lot’s of birthdays for the New Moon I see (: well check out this cool spell you can do on your birthday! 

Materials:

Cake (or cupcake, cookie, sweet dessert you can stick a candle in)

Candle

Fire source

A wish

Steps:

1. Cleanse and charge your candle and cake with your intent (your wish)

2. Stick candle in cake and place on altar or any sacred space

3. Light candle

4. While the little (but powerful) flame glows feel the energy coming off it’s flicker. Let it wash over you and warm you to your core.

5. Chant: 

A year has come, 

A year has passed,

I’ll make my birthday wish at last, 

Magick powers old and new 

Make my birthday wish come true!

6. Recite your wish out loud in a non passive statement. For example instead of saying “I wish for more money” say instead “I have more money”

7. Blow out your candle

8. Take a well deserved bite of your treat (and remember to leave some as an offering if you work with offerings!)
