Just remembered a funny interaction I had with my pharmacist a few years ago when I first started taking birth control I thought I'd share.

50 yo pharmacist I've known since I was 10: so just letting you know this kind won't work as well on preventing pregnancy if you smoke or do other types of drugs.

Me: no worries I don't smoke or do drugs and I'm also asexual there just to help my period

Pharmacist: oh ok your Gucci then....wait why did I say gucci!?!?

Me: because you wanted too????

After that he just told me to have a good day and let the doctor know if I think the pills aren't working and walked away looking baffled by what he said.

3 years later it still makes me laugh

I've never felt more attacked by two tags in my life

when the objectively bad person has traumatic and honestly reasonable reasons for why theyre like that but it doesnt excuse their actions and only serves to make them more tragic as a character

First thing I saw in the news this morning when I woke up was this followed by Tom Holland and Zendaya being engaged talk about whiplash

It's been getting cold here again after a week of warm weather and in my house that means mice are trying to get in to escape it. Now I have a 15 year old cat and a 9 year old cat that I have had since they were babies.(both of them were born preemies so I took them in from separate family friends to take extra care of since they were bullied away from the mom cats and were starving)

Now the older one who I'll call Lia taught the younger one who I'll call thena how to hunt which included teaching her to not eat the mice and to put the dead mice by the litter box so I can see them and dispose of them.

Well last night thena killed a mouse by the living room table and before I could walk up in time she started EATING the thing and ignored me shouting at her.

So what does Lia do? She jumps on the table and snacks my half empty Gatorade bottle right on top of her head.

And when thena looked up confused Lia just gives her the most expressive " wtf do you think your doing" look I have ever seen on a cats face.

After that thena hid in shame in my room and Lia looks at me with a look of disgust like, "I did NOT teach her that" and I cleaned up while laughing the whole time.

Thena is ok now but is still taking big steps around tables today.

One of the craziest things I've ever seen was when I was in grade 4 and for some reason half of the teachers in my school went on a "diet" of eating nothing but a 650g container of Activia yogurt for lunch everyday of the week for half the school year.

This always resulted in the teachers trying to find someone to watch their class well trying not to deficate themselves.

They only stopped because one teacher fainted due to dehydration and another got diabetes from the increase amount of sugars in their system.

To this day I still have no clue how they didn't realize that getting the runs every day is not healthy.

Just keep amusing myself by thinking of possible scenario in season 4 of From. Elgin trying to explain or justify himself and Victor just staring at him and declares he going to see Sara. Elgin spends episode panicking whilst Victor and Sara are just playing board games at hers.

So story time here but I find it both bizarre and infuriating so I just want to share something that happened on my second day of junior high.

I was sitting at my desk doing my work when my teacher walks up to me and whispers into my ear "you missed a hundred days of school at your last school last year and I'm just telling you that is NOT going to happen in my class!" And I had no clue what to say because I knew that wasn't true so I just didn't respond and she walked away while I was confused and embarrassed because some boys had heard and kept staring at me in shock so I....just didn't do anything about it. Plus I lived 80 feet from the school so that just made me more confused

Then I learn 5 years later why my attendance was like that and I was both glad I found out and pissed off at the same time.

So my mom worked at my elementary school for the first 5 years of me being there (it starts at nursery and goes to grade 6) and had some people she didn't get along with (nether my mom or the other people were teachers but worked other types of jobs there) so she quit.

But turns out one woman who I'll call green hated my mom because my mom is Ukrainian (second gen Canadian) and we found out about this when we ran into a old coworker of my mom (who is also Eastern European)who told us that green was caught CHANGING the attendance of all the children that were Eastern European or half Eastern European so she got fired.

Like, I was borderline threatened by my teacher because someone was racist and took it out on children.

That's not even the worst of my experience with teachers bullying me but I'll get into that another day lol
