Letting Go

There comes a point in all of our lives where we have to let go of someone or something, we thought would last forever. Instead of making a big deal out of the end result, we often times, do everything we can to make it seem like we had absolutely nothing to do with the ending of a relationship or a friendship or a situation. It's okay to let go. It's okay to no longer want to befriend someone or to no longer attend the same places. More people need to learn the art of letting go and letting go peacefully. Too many people get complacent with things remaining the same - they will not! Once you realize that everything and everyone is replaceable, life will be more interesting to live. #ashmurph

THIS summer, I've been to more baby showers than ever before & I must say that Kristin's was one of my top 3 favorites (Melina's & Adasha's following)!!! It was sooo family filled from BOTH sides & te support that she had from her friends was impeccable!!! EVERYTHING was perfect!!! I can't wait until my closest girlfriends & I get to that place in life where we are ready to start having babies & raising our children, & enjoying our families TOGETHER!!! Lord knows I CAN'T WAIT TO BE A GODMOTHER (experiencing the birth & helping raise/co-parent a child & etc...) & a mother (stepmother,included)!!! i was going to stay for 11am service, BUT something told me that that was unnecessary. the word was a tough one to swallow, BUT it still went forth. Sister Kristin Callender spoke genuinely from her heart about the both of us, & you can tell she meant every word. @godbooksball & i were talking about the things bothering him & he was seeking answers to questions he had & I didn't have the answers. He then asked to go to #menchies in #compton. we walk in, converse, & as we're hooking our ice cream up, a MEXICAN COWBOY walks in. mind you, we skipped out of 11am service & went to #menchies while my brother's heart was heavy. This man started talking, so as ASHLEY, I'm observing him & listening while he shares that he's a PREACHER, (WHO DECIDED TO TAKE A BREAK FROM CHURCH TODAY), soon-to-be ORDAINED CHAPLAIN IN THE COUNTY JAILS & how he preaches & does outreach on SKIDROW. who would've thought, that GOD would use this once RACIST MEXICAN GANG MEMBER to speak life and GIVE ANSWERS THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO MY BROTHER IN MENCHIE's?! SOMETIMES, IT'S THE PEOPLE IN HIGH POSITIONS WHO MAKE YOU QUESTION YOUR CHARACTER. WHEN SOMEONE OS SURROUNDED BY SO MANY "YES MEN" IT MAY BE TOUGH WHEN ONE OR TWO GOES AGAINST THE GRAIN. DOES THAT MAKE THEM A BAD PERSON NO. YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO SEE THE POTENTIAL IN PEOPLE, AND NOT FOCUS ON WHERE THEY ARE NOW. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE IN A CHURCH OR AT CHURCH TO RECEIVE A WORD FROM THE LORD. GOD WILL FIND A WAY SPEAK TO YOU THROUGH SOMEONE YOU LEAST EXPECT IT TO COME FROM. BE FAITHFUL. TRUST IN THE PROMISES THAT GOD HAS SHOWN YOU AND DON'T LET ANY LIVING HUMAN BEING, MAKE YOU FEEL LESS THAN ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU DISAGREE OR QUESTION SOMETHING THEY SONT BELIEVE IN. i don't have a problem with "FIRM BELIEVERS OF CHRIST," BUT i do have a problem with IGNORANT SIGNS/POSTS, such as this one. Maybe I misinterpreted the BIBLE, BUT in Genesis 1:28, #GOD instructs the new human (#adam & #eve) to "be fruitful AND to multiply." And that was before the serpent tempted the WOMBAN to eat from the fruit of knowledge, therefore, even before the sin of the world was introduced, one can infer AND assume, that SEX is one of the FIRST gifts to humans, that GOD declared "GOOD." IF Adam & Eve were created to tend to the works of the world, then it's safe to say that they're relationship was NOT a covenant based relationship, BUT a regular relationship. i was about 12 years old when i walked into Mrs.Plourde's room to a television screen of disbelief.
