Hello everyone, I'm Phoenix Rose! I'm AuDHD, physically disabled, nonbinary and use They/it/She pronouns.

I'm a big fan of Homestuck, the Arc Of A Scythe book series, and most types of music, currently jamming out to a lot of hyperpop!

I absolutely adore pigeons, crows, ravens, and chickens, as well as snakes, spiders, and cats.

I'm a practicing Hellenistic pagan, an artist, and tend to dabble in writing short stories and poetry

I have limited use of my legs, partial seizures, and a slew of other problems, and recently got thrown out of my previous home, leading to me having to pretty much pack up what I could carry and move states, causing me to leave all my mobility aids behind.

Now for the part I hate the most! Asking for help!

As of right now, I'm currently homeless, in need of a new wheelchair as the one I'm currently using is being loaned to me and has a severe veering problem, and struggling to stay fed and hydrated enough.

Any donations sent will go towards keeping me fed, any hospital bills I may end up having before I can switch over my insurance to the state I'm now in, my wheelchair fund, and other necessities!

Hey, this is really shitty and really sucks, but income has been lost and, while I'm scrambling to try to find help to cover things and pause things and pay mortgage, I will need HELP!!!!

Kiddo and I are Disabled, AuDHD Chahta. We're surviving abuse. We need HELP to keep our safe housing, our bills, our food.

Housing is $1255/month and I thankfully had $500 set aside, but I now desperately need the other $755 for housing.

Groceries, having to purchase all gluten free, gets very expensive very quick and can run about $200 a week in our area and it fucking sucks but that's what's needed to feed a growing l, disabled, celiac kiddo here. Anything and everything towards THAT is ALSO welcome.

Hey @ live sports broadcasters or other live event broadcasters on television

Since yall have the ability to "tape delay" something for a few seconds to prevent prohibited curse words or vulgarities from being aired on tv, maybe you can tape delay live events a few seconds longer to ensure that closed captions are delivered accurately, typo-free, and in "real time" with the broadcast, eh?

I would rather watch a sporting event a minute behind it being actually live in reality if it means that what the commentators are saying and describing as part of the action is actually in line with what's happening, not 30 seconds later after the play has ended or even gone to commercial, or featuring far too many typos, and that's if they just don't completely skip over something that was said outright and not present the captioned statement. Cant tell you how many times I watch a hockey game and they just completely omit things that are said regarding stats because transcribers can't / don't have the time to get it right because of the names used, or how fast the commentators are going for the broadcast.

Sigh.

Fucking hell I'm so annoyed with how some accessibility options are always after thoughts if they're ever thoughts at all.

A disabled wizard that instead of using a wheel chair has a throne that ambulated using a set of crab legs, and as a bonus it also has the crab claws in front to help grab things that are low to the ground. She is a master of the shoreline and is not afraid to clamp hard onto the ankles of those that oppose her.

Hello!

I’m currently saving for a custom chair as my NHS chair is just not fit for me.

I am badly hurting my hands trying to get through doors to the point my friends thought my knuckles may have broken, struggling due to the chair being so heavy, and a mile long list of other issues but won’t be fitted for a new chair as the NHS says this is all good for me which sucks.

Even if you can’t donate, sharing helps so so much and is super appreciated :))
