He was happy the Richard was alive but..... he still felt as though he was dead because this Richard was not the Richard that he had known, not the Richard that cared for him, not the Richard that taught him to be a good Robin, and most of all this was not his Batman, not his Baba. So Damian didn't know how to feel he was grateful but he was also sad? Mad? He knew that this was an amazing thing because his Richard, his Batman, his Baba was still alive and he might be able to recover to be even a bit like the person he once was and not this lifeless doll but he wasn't the same and if Fenton was to be believed then he might never be the same. He was still caring, he still ate overly sugary cereal and drank overly sweet soda but, he didn't remember him he didn't remember any of them, the light in his eyes was gone, his once bright blue eyes now a sad golden. So Damian was, something, he was feeling some emotion that he couldn't place, he didn't understand what it was that he was feeling was but he was feeling something. And he let himself feel that something when he looked at Richard, after all, wasn't Richard the one that taught him that it was ok to feel?

DC X DP Prompt: Talons

Okay, so you know how everyone talks about how Danny and Jason would recognize each other as members of the undead in a way?

Well, what about Talons? The Talons are basically undead assassins, so Danny would also recognize them. And maybe if you want to go with the idea that Danny is the Ghost King, the Talons might even feel more loyalty to Danny than the Court of Owls.

Or maybe it would leave them conflicted and confused. Maybe, with that confusion, it would give them a chance to fight back against the brainwashing of the Court of Owls and make their own decisions.

What to do if you suddenly find yourself homeless

FOOD

Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food

grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread

different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.

some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit

SHELTER

Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment

sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it

Some churches offer short term residence

Find your nearest homeless shelter

Look for places that are open to the public

A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry

HYGIENE

A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.

Public libraries have bathrooms you can use

Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.

Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver

Local beaches, go for a quick swim

Some truck stops have showers you can pay for

Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet
