I’ve decided to take this to a platform where I have more flexibility with media and formatting. Stay tuned for links to the new blog and and upcoming video featuring my 10 item capsule wardrobe that I used for my thanksgiving trip. I’m excited to show the fun challenge of using only a few items to make unique outfits and how I layered things as an unexpected cold front came through after the first day. Also, I’ve been keeping a spreadsheet to track what items I wear each day, and I’ll post the November spreadsheet once I get a totals column set up. Data doesn’t lie.

The Point
On this blog you will find an analysis of my wardrobe. Every day I shall be recording what items in my wardrobe actually get used. Why? Well, I have a lot of clothing. Too much to be honest. I’ve tried Marie-Condo-ing my closet and it helps but I have a more practical mind and I need DATA. This girl loves some indisputable facts.
Hence this blog.
My ultimate goal is to whittle my clothing collection down to a reasonable amount. I realize that this is a vague description but I’m not sure when I will feel that I have reached a “reasonable amount.” I do know that I would like to have enough room in my closet for my clothes to breathe. I live in a place that has four seasons, so I would like to have some pieces change throughout the year. I want to wear every piece I own, instead of having things that just take up space.
I have a feeling that this is going to be more difficult that I think it will be, because reducing the size of my wardrobe has always been oddly difficult, but I am ready to face the task. I have already worked on breaking my shopping habit this year, and I’m ready to make my wardrobe work for me.
