FUCK you guys, I’m coming back from the dead to announce that this is canon in the Cross City multiverse.

every time i listen to “you’re a mean one mr. grinch” i can’t help but sit there and think “what did the grinch do to hurt you?” because dude just stands there for 2 minutes and 58 seconds and drags the grinch into the dirt

Asking for elaboration on the William being trans post, I’m curious now

THANKS FRIEND. I WILL NOW ELABORATE

SO. William. Little baby William realized he was trans at age 14, but didn’t come out until around 19 because this is the 70s and they weren’t nice. Due to this, it was incredibly difficult, near impossible even, to legally change his gender markers and name. He did have his supportive friend, Henry, who had been friends with him since childhood, but unfortunately, he still had to best his greatest enemy: the State Of Utah.

So, he left for a while. He was frustrated and, as he tends to be, too stubborn to just give up and wait for protests to work. He didn’t leave the state, he left the franchise, disappearing into Cross City for a while. He came back after a few weeks, and returned to his normal life in FNaF Utah with all legal documents necessary to claim he is a man named William. Where did he get them? No idea! To this day, it is unclear how William does it, but he basically couldn’t be denied at this point. He even did (poorly but shh) his own top surgery while out, so chest-b-gone. And if anybody tried to physically deconfirm his gender, he would just glare at them and it’d be enough to scare any doctors away. (Remember, the Afton Family Death Glare)

So now William has master forgery abilities. And he didn’t stop using those abilities there. When  Alex, someone he had a crush on, came out as a trans woman, he surprised her by disappearing for a weekend and bringing back her own legal documents (and promptly got proposed to). When Henry said “Man, Joey is turning out to be kind of a crackhead, I wanna start a new business with you William,” he dropped by his house three days later saying “So we now own a large building in Hurricane. What business would you like to do?” and they started working on Freddy’s together. 

It just went uphill from there. But also downhill. Along with being able to secure legal facts to benefit his friends and those he cares about, he also forged fake police evidence and fake alibis. Nobody could confirm that William was a criminal, because every time they tried, he’d just gesture to the forged evidence, and nobody could find a leak in it to disprove it. It was nothing but words against his own. He never even got caught for any of it.

Well,, not by the police at least.

And, there you have it! William being trans is what motivated him to learn how to gaslight the government.

The Afton family are all capable of the most intimidating death glare known to mankind. Michael included, but his horrible anxiety means he never does it.

To elaborate on the last post: Bendy and the Ink Machine used to be two different franchises, before Joey yanked Bendy into a novel about an animator, where Joey originated. It went well at first, Bendy was peaceful, but Joey wasn't satisfied. He went harder.

Alex from Minecraft is William's wife. She ended up disappearing shortly after Elizabeth was born, getting stranded in Minecraft (since she appeared AFTER Steve did, he was already in Minecraft at that point). William didn't take the disappearance well.

There's a phenomenon present in characters from things like Eddsworld, Dream SMP, and even Andrew Hussie in Homestuck: muses. Self insert characters have a special connection to their real life counterparts, they're a part of them. If the person leaves the project (or, even worse, passes away), the character will gain a hole in their soul that's incredibly difficult to fill. Like a part of yourself just walked away. All characters cope with this feeling differently, but it usually causes great emotional and mental damage. Tord, due to how long he's been in this state, is probably one of the characters handling it the best.

Inspired by @katelynntheg, Julius the Cat is Cartoon Cat. One of the many examples of how neglect can mentally fuck with a character, physically if they're desperate enough to become a sensation again. People love horror after all, right?
