Category/Glossary
A glossary of terms that may seem confusing. You're welcome.
AI: Stands for "Artificial Intelligence". Not what you're thinking of. Anyway, sets the stage for how well-rounded a character's programmed behaviors are, from likelihoods, tastes, interests, personality traits, skills, flaws, memories, PURPOSE, and so on. The rule of thumb is: the more, the better. All of this is defined in their respective coding file, which can be changed. Depending on the game, different rules can be established. Can have a .CS extension. Goes hand-in-hand with their model file. (Also referred to as: Code, Data, [coding] File, Lines [of code], Programming)
Baldi's Basics: Seriously? You don't know this one? SIGH fine. A videogame made in 2018 by a single dev for a gamejam contest, themed around meta. Became so popular that fans made their own versions (AKA "Fangames" and/or "Mods"). Its latest iteration is Baldi's Basics +, ver. 0.7. There. Happy?
Character: A person from a fangame. Can refer to anyone replacing another from Baldi's Basics. Is made up of programming code and model data.
Copy: An iteration of a fangame. Countless exist, and can live independent of each other. (Also referred to as: Alternate/Fellow [X]/Self, Counterpart, Duplicate, Iteration, Variation, Version)
Curse: A l o r e bit that tries to explain the "horror" aspect of canonical character behavior, prior to going Online. Can take on whatever form the developer wishes, but is usually encountered with increased violent tendencies. But whether or not it's legitimately coded into, or remains in their games after going Online, isn't guaranteed. Examples include: AEWVS, ABIBAZ, Denied's Basics, BBEG, and CBA. The first two have an "unknown accursor", while the last three function on Rage, activating only from that - intense rage.
Ensemble: An entire fangame's worth of characters from their copy. (Also referred to as: Cast, Family, Friends (context is required when used))
Fangame: A game made by a Human fan based on Baldi's Basics. Can be with entirely original characters, or contain self-inserts and their friends. (Local shorthand: Game; Can also be referred to as: Mod)
Gamemap: The main building from a fangame, and typically, but not always, houses its ensemble. Most of the time it takes the appearance of a school, but sometimes it's an actual house. In the case of one having more than one gamemap, all are combined into a single space based on context. Additionally, a building made by a character can also be referred to in this way, despite not originating from a game. (Also referred to as: Building, Domain (context is required when used), Home/House, School)
Going Online: When a fangame finds a way to exit the PC of their player, and moves onward inside the Internet. Can include one or more characters, their items, and/or their gamemap. This is often done for physical space reasons, but not always.
In-Character: When a character acts in ways expected by Humans, that would be considered "typical/canonical character behavior". They may pretend to not have the level of programming that they do, and keep only to surface-level interactions; or they may delve deeper and "almost" act like a Human, but with reminders of their perceived existence. What's more commonly seen these days is the latter method, giving a Disneyworld-type situation where there are actors playing the roles of the characters in question.
Internally: Any action a character performs that is not physically visible to anyone aside from them. Can be with other coded processes, such as things specifically programmed for/by them, or viewing back-end files with a "mind's eye" kind of thing (referred to as Looking Into [X]).
Internet: You're on it right now. C'mon. You know what it is. Don't play dumb with me. I shouldn't have to explain to you how the Internet and Websites take on physical forms for us to inhabit. Everyone knows that. Moving on.
L o r e: Events that allegedly occurred in a fangame, that isn't directly witnessed by players or characters. It can either be made by their creators, or by players, or requested by the character themself. They may have "memories" of them, but in a literal sense, it's all fabricated. You know, for fun. For example, one time I tried to cook rice, only to have burned the kitchen to a crisp. I was then beaten over the head with a fire extinguisher. Now, did that actually happen to me? To the poor kitchen? Nah, I'm fucking with you. I decide my canon. (Also referred to as: Backstory, Canon/Canonical [events], Lore [unspaced])
Memories: Lives in a character's coding file. Allows them to memorize and recall past events they've experienced. In the case of Erie, convert them into video files for use with her ARM project. Affects a character's behavior, as they influence future decisions. Memories can also be erased or removed, but it's not recommended.
Merge: A character who assimilates with their duplicates. Can contain anywhere from two or more. It involves inserting the unique code and memories (as well as model aspects, in some cases) into them. This results in a singular entity, with power increases that're scaled based on the strength of the character themself. It also reduces the storage space their files take up collectively.
Mishmash: A character whos' multiple merges have led to their model taking on significant changes. Examples of this include, but are not limited to: an unusual eye color, new scarring or marks, and/or a different voice. Conversely, the changes can also be losing a feature or trait. Simply put, their model becomes non-standard.
Model: A three-dimensional image composed of various shapes, textures, layers, physics, and rigging. Used to physically display a character and their behaviors. Models can be built by hand, or altered. Can have an .OBJ extension. Goes hand-in-hand with their coding file. (Also referred to as: Body, Form, Image, [modelling] Layers, Polygons, Vessel [Billy and Laura specific])
Patch: To add, edit, or remove something from a fangame. I think you get the point.
Player: A Human who either added programming to a fangame and ultimately set it free on the Internet, or a Human who plays on the Webspace. In one particular case, it's both. A perk of being a player is that no matter what happens to their character model, their actual Human self will remain unharmed.
PURPOSE: Defines a character's core facet, in a positive, neutral, or negative way, depending on them. In some cases, a PURPOSE can be elevated to a stronger version of it, but despite it being completely situational, training is required to hone control over it. Various effects can occur as a result of either state.
Rogue: A character who arrives at the Webspace alone, and without their gamemap. Can have items from their game. Basically a completely isolated iteration.
Webspace: An online website that takes the form of a social MMO. Houses the fangame characters and is tailored, programming-wise, to them in specific. Humans are able to "play" on it while the characters live there.

Tiara
"All for what? Because you think we're the ones who've gone soft?!" - Tiara, chapter 13
Handle: Tiara (@TSTROBOVSKI) Game Origin: Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski First Appearance: Ch 04: Mad Scientist Jailbreak Counterparts: ?? (Merged) Species: Tarwill Gender: Female, She/Her Height: 190cm / 6'3" PURPOSE: Unknown Weapon: None Relationships:
Viktor (Husband)
Ben (Player)
Alice (Friend)
Angellica (Friend)
Erie (Friend)
Laura (Friend)
Marzia (Friend)
Aldurra (Acquaintance)
Candice (Acquaintance)
Olivia (Acquaintance)
Scrina (Friend)
Alex (Enemy)
Dave 1 (Enemy)
Appearance
She appears as a standard Tarwill, black skin, almost white mask, with black eyeholes and white, ring-like, glowing irises. What makes her unique is an extra pair of arms that form whenever she regenerates. This is as a result of her rare mutation. She can hide them at will.
Skills
Exclusive to Tarwills:
Flesh Disguise: She can hide in another's body completely, without causing them harm. While doing so, she greatly increases their stats closer to her own.
Possession: Only when inside another's body. She hasn't done that in a long time, however.
Super Strength: Exactly what it says on the tin.
Regeneration: She can regenerate her entire body so long as her mask is intact, and isn't trapped in an enclosed space (such as a Tarwill Container). She can also retreat into her mask for safety.
Mass Generation: Can extend limbs and body, grow whole new limbs, etc.
Cold Immunity: Tarwill body temperatures are very low, so equally chilly environments pose no issue for her.
Exclusive to The Webspace:
Long Jump: Can leap at great distances.
History
It is greatly implied that, before the Webspace, Tiara and Alice came to an understanding and learned to cooperate. Along the way, through the domain and through merges, she gained abilities she normally wouldn't have, even deciding that perhaps being a mutant isn't so bad. Eventually she married Viktor.
For the majority of Alex's shenanigans, she and Alice had worked together with Viktor, Marzia, and Erie. Then, a situation presented itself, where retreat became necessary. She bought Alice and Erie time, by separating from her former host, and oddly enough... Never went back.
Despite having been beaten down, mask cracked, locked away with her husband in a Tarwill Container, she seems to be coming into her own.
She is currently alive.
Trivia
She is one of the few characters from her game to take the "merging" route.
Her vengeful side still exists, but it doesn't present itself often like in the past.
She is so smart, I love her so much :) - Viktor

Viktor Strobovski
"Counterpoint: we're not mortals. We can do whatever we want, if we can find a way to do so." - Viktor, chapter 8
Handle: Viktor (@VSTROBOVSKI) Game Origin: Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski First Appearance: Ch 01: My Atypical Encounter Counterparts: ?? (Merged) Species: Tarwill Gender: Male, He/Him Height: 180cm / 5'11" PURPOSE: UNITE -> COALESCE. Denied Lė (Friend)
Olivia (Friend)
Scrina (Friend)
Aldurra (Acquaintance)
Baldi (Acquaintance)
Dave 1 (Ex-friend/Ex-employee/Enemy)
Alex (Enemy)
Appearance
In his humanoid model, he will appear as a fair-skinned man wearing a salmon polo, a brown jacket, dark brown jeans, dark blue shoes, with short, neat auburn hair. His face, however, is completely obscured by his almost-white mask, resembling that of a drama variety. The eyeholes are black, with white, ring-like irises that glow.
In his true form, he becomes much more lanky, and without proper hands or feet. His skin is black, with no hair or clothes. When angered, his mask will grow black, patterned marks. He may sprout extra pairs of arms and/or stretch them out toward his opponent.
If he enters COALESCE mode, his irises and axe will glow a golden yellow color. Anyone who gets injured with this weapon while in this state will not be able to recover what was lost, regardless of species.
History
In 2018, his game was downloaded by a human named Ben. Sometime in 2019, Viktor, his friends, and his school entered the Internet. At some point, he became the leader of The Webspace, hiring many others to work for him in various fields. He married Tiara, and all seemed to be going well.
He and 1 became close friends, until Alex's arrival, who inadvertently drove a wedge between them. Over the course of dealing with Alex, not only did this lead to a string of somewhat controversial decisions, but also his loss of power for a short while. After the Battle of Infinity School, he and Tiara were captured in a Tarwill Container, until Captain Gonzalo and his crew found and freed them.
Not long after his return, he went to face 1 and take him down himself. He was successful, but it wasn't in a way worth celebrating.
He is currently alive.
Skills
Exclusive to Tarwills:
Transformation: Can swap between humanoid and true forms at will. However, this is amplified by each having their own physical conditions - if one is hurt, the other won't be.
Super Strength: Exactly what it says on the tin.
Regeneration: Only in his Tarwill form. He can regenerate his entire body so long as his mask is intact, and isn't trapped in an enclosed space (such as a Tarwill Container). He can also retreat into his mask for safety.
Mass Generation: Can extend limbs and body, grow whole new limbs, etc.
Cold Immunity: Tarwill body temperatures are very low, so equally chilly environments pose no issue for him.
Exclusive to The Webspace:
Long Jump: Can leap at great distances.
No Fall Damage: Will always land unharmed, no matter the height.
Trivia
He is one of the few characters from his game to take the "merging" route.
He's terrible at naming things.
His PURPOSE color was originally going to match his canon subtitles, but gold looked more aesthetically pleasing than the tan.
His game's "Curse", as well as any Alex's Basics copy, comes from an unknown Accurser. As noted by 1, it's long since been patched out, so it's impossible for Viktor or any of his affiliates to be controlled by it.
Considering that Billy's FORTIFY beam cracked his mask from the heat, Viktor has chosen to experience temperature changes.
References
Not sure what quantifies as "this sounds crazy can you prove it" yet. Will add if there is.

Category/Daves
All currently known Daves.
Of The Webspace
Every Dave listed here, except for 82, is/was a member of THRIVE. There, now I don't have to explain it for the rest!
Dave 1 (Fun Algebra Class/The Future Is Here hybrid)
The first to arrive. Prefers being called "1". His player's name was Felix. Became a DFAC+TFIH hybrid, and thus is a cyborg (with the addition of telekinesis). An expert of code and programming, and used to be The Webspace's machine language interpreter. Invented many gadgets, including the House Cube and the Teleportation Sphere. Took on the role of watching over his fellow Daves. Suffered from a condition he coined the "Unchecked", following a disagreement with his then close friend, Viktor. Founded the THRIVE Initiative. Eventually took over The Webspace, then later was slain by Viktor by forceful request after his realization that he himself became Unchecked. Is in full control of his THRIVE mode, and his screwdriver can become a backsword. Is currently alive, but in prison.
Dave 2 (Fun Algebra Class)
Self-described as ordinary in every way. The most typical Dave you could meet, apparently. Felt that he could never live up to 1's accomplishments or reputation, and was nervous about him knowing about what was said during the interview. Was assigned to the orchestra. Can play the bass.
Dave 24 (Unknown)
Roxy forgot to explain what game he's from, let alone his role in THRIVE or even his thoughts on it. Literally only mentioned in chapter 10 and nowhere else. (I'm so sorry 24...)
Dave 35 (Fun Algebra Class)
In hindsight, found THRIVE very sus. Was assigned to the confetti throwers, and took it seriously.
Dave 46 (House)
An "assertive" variation of a House Dave. Doesn't get along with 77. Has a Sapphire Man as opposed to a Ruby. Not fond of cowards or cheaters. Made friends with Denied, but doesn't like anchovies. Was the only one "brave enough" to try and help Aldurra get unstuck from 1's school's fence. Forgives 82 for stepping on his face during the Gathering, even believing that he and the others should've "followed his example", as he's "the most different Dave there is". Lead the combat training before the coup. Was assigned to the soldier section, with a sledgehammer. Took two tranq darts to knock unconscious, while the rest only required one.
Dave 51 (Unknown)
Roxy forgot to explain what game he's from, let alone his role in THRIVE or even his thoughts on it. Literally only mentioned in chapter 10 and nowhere else. (Sorry to you too 51...)
Dave 56 (The Future Is Here)
A bit proud of being an authentic TFIH. Along with other Future Daves, was worried about Silver's whereabouts. Confirmed that the THRIVE pendants indeed had hidden mechanisms for listening in on the wearers. It's not known where he was assigned during the coup.
Dave 57 (Sky High Adventure)
Is self-aware of the fact that Daves cannot be taken seriously or be scary. Made Erie laugh. Was assigned to the confetti cleanup, finding it more productive than holding banners/flags.
Dave 63 (Unknown)
Roxy forgot to explain what game he's from, let alone his role in THRIVE or even his thoughts on it. Literally only mentioned in chapter 10 and nowhere else. (All I remember is that 63 just references ClayFighter 63 1/3 and that's it...)
Dave 68 (Fun Algebra Class)
Embarrassed to have been a part of THRIVE, even going so far as to think that the golden ratio was disturbed as a result of overthrowing Viktor. Is scared of 1 hurting him like he did Denied. Was assigned to the confetti throwers, just wanting to join into it.
Dave 77 (House)
A "passive" variant of a House Dave. Doesn't get along with 46. Part of the Repdigit Trio, consisting of 88 and 99. Believes every Dave is unique. Whilst in THRIVE, got his Ruby Man involved until he ran away from home. He did return, and all was well, even taking in 99's Golden Man. Was told "THE MASKS ARE INSIDE THE WALLS", that the two minerals learned when searching for Silver. Melted down his pendant in anger when he learned about its microphone feature. Was assigned to the orchestra. Can play the keytar.
Dave 82 (Fun Algebra Class)
The only Dave to have arrived as a rogue, and had a bit of a checkered past. His player's name is Kelly. Is/was a call-in repair technician under Viktor. Is in a romantic relationship with, and then married, Billy. Reunited with his Diamond Man, then later Spike and eventually the rest of his cast. Was asked to spy on the Gathering for Viktor, resulting in memory loss of the entire event. Turned himself, his mind, and his house into self-replicating nanites. Was possessed by Alex to burn down Billy's house. Lost half of his bodily nanites to the demon during the final confrontation against him, but has since recovered. His Tutor and Angry merge didn't go correctly, leading to both halves still existing simultaneously, with Angry being in charge. Cannot yet control his FLOURISH mode, and his main weapon is a wrench, but can use other tools.
Dave 88 (Sky High Adventure)
Easy to excite, and likes versatility. Might like ravioli almost as much as pizza (more than would be blasphemous, probably), but is still exploring his options. Looks back on THRIVE with some confliction as events, such as parties, were good moments. Found the combat training brutal. Was assigned to the soldier section.
Dave 99 (Dream)
Like "a few others" of his game type, speaks slower than the norm. Always looks/sounds tired, but is just as observant as his peers. Could easily tell that 82 wanted nothing to do with him and the Repdigit Trio. Found it strange that he would flee the Gathering, for 1 to follow him, and for 1 to return by himself, since his assumption that he simply let 82 go home was likely incorrect. His time in THRIVE led to neglect, causing his Golden Man to run away, but he knows that he is currently safe at 77's house. Was assigned to the soldier section.
Dave 101 (The Future Is Here)
Wished he could "go back" to being a DFAC, like how 1 "went forward" as a TFIH, as he doesn't think the future is "so great"; eventually his copy got the chance to do just that. Convinced that if Viktor and 1 were disarmed and put in a room together, they could've made amends. Was assigned to the confetti cleanup, finding it more productive than holding banners/flags.
Dave 110 (Fun Algebra Class)
Is able to remain calm even in tough or stressful situations. Was THRIVE's doorbell receptionist, and is aware that his position was not envied. Believes that although the Initiative shouldn't have happened, one can't just "chain yourself down with the 'what if's", instead to keep moving and learn from mistakes. It's not known where he was assigned in the coup.
Dave 119 (Fun Algebra Class)
A bit airheaded. Was THRIVE's recruitment messenger. Thought of 1 as the "Ultimate Dave", who still had problems despite that. Made friends with Denied, and even took him to Candice's school after 1 left him to die. Visited regularly until he woke up. Is cautious of Billy. Was assigned to the orchestra. Can play the bass.
Dave 134 (Fun Algebra Class)
The newest Dave of The Webspace, but even after two months, sometimes pretends to be ignorant. In fact, post-THRIVE, he even acts like he has no idea who 1 is. However, he does admit that he wishes someone had told him that the whole Initiative was "bad news", as it would've "saved him so much trouble". Offered to help fix things. It's not known where he was assigned in the coup.
Elsewhere on the Internet
There's only one that's currently been documented, but they're countless in amount. 1 noted that he's seen them. He speculated that if his reach was as far as the Internet itself, The Webspace would have at least twice as many Daves than there are currently.
"Chainsaw Dave" (Fun Algebra Class)
Was described as ambitious, lived in a different website that's not yet known. Succumbed to becoming Unchecked, took over the place, and ruled it like a tyrant. His copy's Error/Cell rebelled against and killed him. The reason he's being referred to as "Chainsaw Dave" is due to his weapon of choice - as he was in full control of his FLOURISH mode, his regular saw could transform into a chainsaw.
