So two years ago I was so sad that Taylor Swift wasn’t playing Scotland on the Rep tour but then I went to Pensylvania to work on a Girl Scout camp. And who would’ve known T Swift was a Girl Scout back in the day and gave us free tickets??? But she did and two years ago today I got to go to the Rep tour which I didn’t think would be possible and it’s all because she decided to give back to Girl Scouts!

So thanks Taylor It was the best night!! And I so wanted to see you in Hyde Park this year.. but maybe next year!!

That time where I got free tickets from Taylor Swift in Philly just for working at a Girl Scout camp! I was so gutted when Scotland wasn’t on the tour but then to get free tickets with great seats I was so happy!!

Back again.

The Whitsundays. 

We set of on the 5th September for 3 nights and 3 days of sailing. Fraser Island

The next stop on our East Coast adventure was to spend 3 days and 2 nights on Fraser Island.  We spent a night in Hervey Bay before heading to the island, the first day we headed to Central Station and walked along the wangoolba creek. First two weeks of the East Coast! 

We started the East Coast adventure in Sydney. We climbed the harbour bridge, walked from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach, took a tour of the Blue Mountains and went to Toronga Zoo.  We left Sydney on a night bus and headed to Coffs Harbour, we spent a day here and just had a nice relaxing day exploring and sitting on the beach. 6 months in Australia.

I have been in Australia now for a little over 6 months. Those 6 months have gone very fast and I expect the next 6 will go just as fast.  Over the past 6 months I have explored Melbourne, worked as an orange picker, a chilli picker, a watermelon planter and an Au Pair.  I have visited Barooga, Cobram, Tocumwal, Townsville, Ayr, Byron Bay, Lismore, Lennox Head and Ballina. Farm work

Living out of a suitcase

Packing for a year in Australia was hard for me. I felt like I had too many clothes but not enough at the same time.  I have an online shopping addiction and always buy new clothes so living for a year with the same clothes is challenging to me. Time to get to work.

The last few weeks we have spent time in the sun relaxing. We have been to wilsons prom, Philip island, Melbourne zoo and the beach!  On Tuesday I turned 23 and although I’m half way across the world I still had a good collection of birthday cards and had a really good day.  Now we have moved a few hours outside of melboune and we are now technically in New South Wales. New year. 

I’ve officially been in Australia for a month now. Australian wildlife

We took a visit to healsville sanctuary to visit all of the native Australian animals. Megan has never been to Australia before and so this was her first time seeing these animals!  Unfortunately the Kangaroo enclosure was shut so we didn’t get to see any but we did see wallaby’s with joeys in their pouches!  We also saw a few koalas sleeping in their trees, they seemed a bit camera shy and kept…

First week in Melbourne.
