what if every Tumblr user suddenly looses their mouse?

My theory as far as why this is the case for me is simply that I used to carry small people around all the time, so in order to be able to keep doing what I needed to do I would carry the little one with my left arm.

Now Instead of small people it's things like boxes or other heavy items, but the concept is still the same, I carry with my left arm to keep my right hand free for detail work.

Okay so I'm curious about something. I know that though I am right handed my left arm is by far stronger than my right. And I was wondering if this is a common thing, so if you're willing, please pick the one that best applies.

And there's usually at least three of them chilling in my active thoughts. And also there's the other writing projects I've committed to/ am wanting to work on and I just...

Y'all, this hellsite has a way of just sucking you back in. I was pretty much inactive, for probably a couple YEARS. And here I am again.

People be asking me, "What do you think about [whatever political event or person]?" And I'm just over here going, " I don't know." or giving a default answer. My personal life is exploding. I feel like every single area of my life is falling completely apart. I honestly am mostly staying away from politics right now, first cus I don't have time or energy and secondly, because based on what happened 4 years ago, it causes me to spiral, and badly, and there's only so much I can do. And most of what I can do is still months away. When that time gets closer, I will make it more of a priority, because I do firmly believe in the importance of being an informed voter and not simply voting down the ticket. In fact I believe it's my duty. But right now, I myself am held together by safety pins. I don't have it in me. Do I care? Yes, desperately. And that's why I'm avoiding it.

"Hey we're going to boycott these stores" Those are the only ones I have access to and/or can afford. And I still need food and other necessities.

"Sign this petition." I don't have time or energy to research it or read your terms, and I am not putting my name on something like that without knowing what I'm doing.

"Donate to this." With what money?

"Make sure you're registered to vote." I will, once I'm able to, it looks like my address will likely change before that.

"Volunteer with us." No time or energy, again."

Here's what I'll say to everyone, "Do what you can, know what you can do, and know what you're doing." Fear mongering is normal right now, don't let it run you. Don't sign things or give money or personal information in a panic. If someone is trying to push you to do something in person, ask for a card or flyer or something so you can get back to them. If they don't give one to you walk away. If they do, do your research before doing anything. DON'T GIVE RANDOS YOUR INFO, SIGNATURE, OR MONEY. Be just as careful now, if not more careful, of links and giving out personal info as you would be at any other time. I hate to say it but this time is full of potential for scammers. When it comes to donations, what I would say is if you want to, and can, donate, take the time to do your research. Find an established trustworthy charity to donate to, that is working toward that goal you want to support. Firstly then you know they are using that money properly, secondly if they are established, they probably will be able to use it more efficiently and effectively. They'll probably also have a better chance of navigating through any red tape. I would say if possible try to find one with a range of things they do, that you can almost make your default. Mine for example is World Vision.

I would also say beware of having too many "causes" it can get overwhelming. You are one person. You can't do everything. We're bombarded with so much, it's easy to get overwhelmed. You personally can not give every problem the warranted attention. It's not possible. So maybe pick a handful. And it is okay if they change over time.

And again, if like me you are finding all this to be just too much, step back. It's okay. Take a deep breath. Find you're footing. When we step back in the ring we'll be stronger.
