Rank of countries I’ve been to that are worth revisiting (Part 1)

I’ve been to some Asian countries and here’s the rank list of them that are worth revisiting for me. :)

10. Singapore

Aside from the expensive cost to travel in Singapore, my friends and I had a very unpleasant encounter with a local. One thing that I liked in Singapore is their very reliable transport system.  I’ll still travel here though because of their street ice cream sandwich (whatever you call that) and because I have some friends who live there.

9. Malaysia (KL)

I visited Kuala Lumpur because of work. For me, there are not many things to see aside from the Petronas but maybe I just didn’t have the time to explore. I think my perception would change after revisiting. :)

8. Oman

I really didn’t go here for a tour but to accompany my nieces, so this is kinda bonus. They have awesome resorts that are really worth the price. The humidity is bad during summer that’s why you’ll just choose to stay indoors. *Trivia: Their currency is higher than USD and Euro, just a few cents lower than the British pound

7. U.A.E. (Abu Dhabi, Dubai)

Another bonus, we are near the border in Oman so why not visit U.A.E. We went to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The grand mosque in Abu Dhabi, Burj Khalifa in Dubai and their cool amusement parks are a must visit! Just like in Oman, you’ll love to stay indoors, though you can’t resist the parks. ;)

6. Hongkong

Usually, airfare is cheap going to Hongkong because of the short travel time from Manila. I love to visit during low temperatures to have a little escape from the tropical weather of the Philippines. I haven’t visited all their tourist spots but I highly recommend not to miss Disneyland. (Tip: You can also tour around their hotels for free, just hop on their free shuttle on the left side of the train station). Their transport system is also very easy to navigate.

[Pri-Log] What Led To Hongki’s SNS Reactions

This is solely my understanding of what happened today that led to Hongki’s frustrated Instagram post and tweet. I do not have both sides of the arguments so this may not all be 100% correct. But I am posting this solely based on the facts that I do have.  It appears there was some trouble building up between Pris and hard-core Pris (Sasaeng fans who tend to follow FT members everywhere.) Some Pris decided to bring this issue up to FT members. They posted these posts on Instagram/Twitter and tagged all FT members, demanding explanation:

WE DEMAND FEED BACK FROM FTISLAND We’ve seen sasaeng fans follow members for several years. Now, we can’t just sit back and watch anymore. Sasaengs are becoming more bold and confident. We want feedback and change from members. It’s unfair for you to treat sasaeng and normal fans differently. This is from Primadonna who loves FTISLAND more than anyone else. 

Choi Jonghun. Using a phone at a recent fan meeting. Using a personal phone without permission during ‘I Will’ autograph session. When a fan asked to strike a pose for a picture, saying that’s a request for idols. Telling “no” to a fan and making a rude face. We want your feedback on this. Don’t you think you insulted fans? Lee Jaejin, Lee Hongki. When regular Pris told sasaeng fans to “quit it,” you heard this through a sasaeng fan and said, “don’t worry,” “ignore it.”  We demand your feed back on how you ignored our worries and concerns for you. Song Seunghyun, Choi Minhwan. Even if sasaeng fans follow you and talk to you, if you respect other fans, you should not respond to sasaeng fans. But you even reply to sasaeng fans on SNS and even talk to them in private settings? Do you think this is right? We want your feedback on this. Even though we separated this by each member, we think this issue applies to all members. Please behave properly before other fans get disappointed and leave you, and give us a ‘proper’ feedback. These fans’ mass tagging on SNS prompted Hongki to post this on his Instagram::

I should zip up my mouth from now on. I’m thankful and disappointed about having this kind of a problem after all this time. I’ll think of it as your attention. No matter what I say now, I think you will demand feedback. But I thought I was kind to everyone. If I didn’t think it through, sorry.

He edited this shortly after and took out the last line before deleting it all together. He also tweeted:

I’ll say it for the last time here and stop. Did you personally see and hear me say those things? What should I do? How should I give you feedback? I’m saying they aren’t all facts. Again, these are all the facts that were presented online. I’m also seeing some ugly follow up tweets from some Pris who demanded this feedback in first place. They say they have their reasons with taking such action. I don’t want to start anything, especially at this time when FTISLAND had such a successful promotion with their own music!! How to be Thick-Skinned

Do you feel defensive and under attack because you don’t believe in yourself? 4. Learn what you can from any comments that are made – and discard the rest as being useless information. 5. Decide not to ruminate on barbs or criticisms - as that will reinforce the faulty message in your brain. 6. Choose to spend more time with people who’re affirming – and minimise the time you spend with those who put you down. 7. Look for a role model who can handle criticism – and try to copy them, so you become more thick skinned, too.

FT Island in Bangkok!!! (fan account)

This trip was very memorable and the time with our treasures will be treasured forever!

I am with the unnies- Ate Gigi, Ate Jems, Ate Jen, Ate Janina,  Ate Alma, Ate Marj and Jah.:)

When we arrived at the Suvarnabhumi international airport (June 7 12:30am), we were frustrated that our flight was delayed because we haven’t had the chance to see FT Island.:( We just decided to lie on the chairs while waiting for Ate Janina’s arrival at 7am. Since she cannot reply to ate Jem’s text message, we just waved our concert paraphernalia’s so that it would be easy for her to see us. I am waving Minhwan’s uchiwa as I saw her.^^ We took the airport rail link in going to our hotel (Dusit Thani) where the boys also checked-in.:)

We got there by 9am but we cannot check-in because the rooms we still being cleaned, so we just left our luggages at the storage room and will come back by 11am to check-in and meet Ammie. We roam around the lobby to see if the boys are there, but we didn’t see even staffs. So we decided to eat outside first. After eating we went back at the hotel then met Ammie there and also ate Jen arrived.:)  It was already 11am and we need to head at the press conference venue because Ammie said that pris will be there by that time that’s why we cannot check-in and have go straight at the venue. Before that, we get some important things from our luggages at the storage room and ate Janina and ate Loli’s luggage too because they will check-in at their hotel nearby. When the others went outside and waited for us at the lobby, I am left with Ammie and Jah at the storage room, and then Ammie told us that the luggages with net on top of it was FT Island’s instruments!!! Then I screamed like crazy! I haven’t had the chance to take a picture of it or just touch it! I didn’t went back inside because the hotel staff might not allow me.+__+  Then we told the others what we saw! We then headed to Central World where the press conference will take place.

We arrived 12noon, the venue was huge! But so hot, Ammie instructed us to be there at the right side because the cameras and press would be at the left side and will block our sight. For the love for the boys, even though it was so hot that day we decided to sit on the ground, luckily we have our banners made with tarpaulin and made it as protection from the sizzling ground. We also took turns from roaming around inside the mall so that we can at least feel the coolness. When our place was shaded and all of us was already there, a cameraman noticed ate Jem’s Seunghyun uchiwa that’s why he approached us and instructed us to cheer FT Island Philippines yaaahh! I didn’t expected this to see in YT!LOL!

At about 4pm the MC started to talk then all the fans rushed in front! The banners were stepped on and I have to get those that’s why I didn’t went straight in front. He interviewed first the sponsors and other local celebs, which I don’t mind because I couldn’t understand them!xD The long wait is over!

After two long years, I’ll finally see FT Island again!T^T Hongki came in first handling a blown plastic balloon and let it flew away, a girl inside got it. He is a little buff compared before but not fat like in the Manila Showcase. Then leader, so handsome as ever! The muscles is screaming!xD Minhwan is still cute but he became more handsome!:D Jaejin had more chest and of course, handsome!xD  Seunghyun, still tall cute and also handsome!^^ Hongki was so restless and mischievous at that time. Minhwan, on the other hand, ony shook his head while the hyungs are answering the question of the MC.:) I focused my attention most of the time to Minhwan because he is always looking on our side, there was a time when his expression is like wondering. Then ate Jem’s told us that Minhwan is like that when she and ate Janina made a heart in the middle of their uchiwa which is Minhwan and Seunghyun!LOL! Hongki, being that mischievous, he teased Minhwan to do the puing puing aegyo thingy!:)) Minhwan, even if he didn’t want to do it, was forced to make his aegyo.:)) He was sooooo cute! I want to kiss him!xDD

After the interview and the photo op, they headed into the Grammy where they will have a live interview again. We also have our photo op with the signed picture of Play FT care of Hiroko-san!^^ The staffs also gave us lots of copy. A girl also gave out Hongki’s plastic balloon!T^T I didn’t fought with the other fans to get it because it will be popped if I do so.:(

When we went back at the hotel, we were surprised that our room number is so significant.^^ 1105 (ate Jem’s birthday) and our room 1111 ( our baby’s birthday!). When I changed my clothes I checked the 1105 room, and they were watching Play! FT Island DVD! Then afterwards ate Gigi called, saying that she’s already at the train station and asking who can pick her up.:) After ate gi fixed her things, we accompany her downstairs because she will buy her dinner and we will wait for the boys at the lobby. We are already dressed up for bedtime!LOL! But after waiting, we decided to go up to our rooms because the boys will surely not enter through the hotels’ lobby, and we are already tired and want to charge up for the concert next day.:)

Concert day! (June 9, 2012)

Because we didn’t get enough sleep the other night, I had a deep sleep! Fortunately my roommate, Jah ,woke up on time and then I also get up from the bed and fix myself. I then checked ate Jem and ate Alma on their room if they have already prepared for the breakfast. Right after taking a bath and fixing up, we roam around first at the hotel before eating our heavy breakfast that will be good up to lunch time. We went at the top floor, swimming pool, gym and spa, but no sign of FT Island around. When we’re done eating our heavy meal, we fix our things at the room and waited for the van. At exactly 12noon the van picked us up at the hotel. The van was similar to FT Island’s van at the press conference! There’s also a van at the entrance, hoping that it would be our boys van that’s why we waited for it to go. Sadly it was the van for the staffs.xD So we moved on to the concert venue.

We came at about 1pm, Thunderdome is just across Ipmact Arena, where CN Blue held their concert. Ammie informed us that FT Island just left the hotel. We left ate Alma and ate Jems at the AL side entrance then we went to our entrance gate at the other side which is AR. The sun is very high that the things of each fan is lined up instead of them, so we also lined up our things while waiting for ate Janina and ate Loli. I cannot wait at the line also because I’m having tummy ache maybe because we sat at the sizzling ground while waiting for the presscon.  After a few moment, we heard fangirls screaming at the AL side of entrance. I’ve just knew that FT Island’s van went that way upon entering the venue. Ate jems told us that it was them because the van has a bond paper on its windshield and the word “ARTIST” is written on it. Followed the screaming is the thunder like sound that I’ve heard. It was Minhwan’s drums!!! Then we went back at our entrance gate. I was shocked to know that the line of our things was not followed. To our dismay, we just went at the end of the line. While waiting for the gates to be opened, pris form FTITH or PDTH? (I don’t know.xD) approached us and gave the yellow paper with the red heart to be shown at the acoustic part of the concert, plus the headband with yellow ribbon.:D

Time has come, the gates were opened! The front view is still vacant!xD We’re directly in front of the platform where leader will stand later on.xD Then we stand there and checked if we can see them clearly.  We took some picture in front of the stage and sat while waiting for the concert to start. The other fans that was on the side of the walk way cannot sit anymore; they will be squeezed if they do so. Afterwards, the boys came up and sang Hello! Hello! As their opening song.:D I almost cried when I heard it LIVE.T^T It’s been 2 years since I’ve heard them live.T^T They’ve improved a lot! When the talking part began, they talked in thai and in English. Their English also improved better.^^ maybe because they visited LA.:)) Seunghyun, when speaking Thai, is like a Thai.;) Because Jonghoon is very near us, ate Loli and ate Janina’s banners were intended for him.^^ The sexy Jonghoon banner and the screencap of the RT of leader at ate Janina’s tweet.:) We made sure that it was seen by him.:D Hongki did too.^^

I wished and wanted to hear the song LIFE live too, but unluckily it wasn’t included in their songlist.:( There was a part when Hongki wanted all of us to sit but we couldn’t. The fans that were on the bleachers just laughed at us.xD When we said “we can’t”  he replied “oh, you can’t?:(“ with matching pouty lips.xD how cute our Hongki was!xDDD When they changed their outfit, I noticed phrases at the back of Hongki’s polo. I tried to read it even if he is so frisky! It says “Love me Little, Love me Long..” it is so meaningful.^^

I’m lifting myself just to see how’s Minhwan doing up there, he is so far away! He is sweating already! I want to wipe his sweat.xD and give him a back rub.LOL! Jonghoon is handsome as ever! I cannot forget the moment that he directed his but onto us and swayed!LOL! oops, he doesn’t have a butt! PEACE!xD But his muscles is sooooo!! Defined. Minhwan’s muscles is already given.:)) I cannot see SeungJin clearly but I still tried to look at them from afar. I’ll just look at the screen to see their faces.:) When Jonghoon is stepping at the platform, I kept on pointing to ate Gigi! Hoping that he would recognize her.^^ (She’s the road manager of FT Island during their stay here in Manila.) And I think he did recognize her.:D During the acoustic part I am also pointing her to the others,LOL! And according to ate Loli, Hongki noticed her also.:DD I therefore conclude, that they also noticed me!!LOLOLOL!xD The hearts was also revealed at the acoustic part of the concert, Hongki noticed it then told the other members. I am waiting for them to cry but I FAILED!T^T Then after that the pris on our side have yellow roses that they want to give. At first nobody become aware of this, but then Hongki saw it! I wanted them to get it, but it took some time before Hongki finally get one rose.T^T How sweet of him!T^T Then he placed it onto his angel skullhong micstand.:D  But wait! There’s more! The pris flew their yellow paper planes with their messages on it.:) Hongki got one, I thought he would read the message, but he flew it back to the pris.LOL! EPIC FAIL!:)) There was also  a part where Seunghyun will sing, but there’s a thing that stucked on his throat, maybe because he has cough and the smoky effect is on his side. But then the pris cheered for him.^^

The concert lasted for about two hours. For me it wasn’t two hours.LOL! Two hours was so short. At the 3rd encore song, we ran outside and rushed through the airport. It was a dream of mine to see them at the airport, at least.:) Because it was a big failure in what happened to me last time at NAIA terminal 1 when they arrived for the Manila showcase. This time I would say that I finally succeeded!^^

AIRPORT

While we’re on the van the flailing and spazzing continued!LOL! We will also drop ate Janina because of her early flight back to Dubai.:( We waited for the boys, we didn’t finish the concert because the airport is too far from the concert venue, also to avoid the crowd.

The boys took so long, but still we must wait for them, this is the moment that we’ve been waiting for! We expected them to arrive just after us. When Ammie told us that the boys went back at the hotel, we were clueless. Why would they have to go back at the hotel?!  Because usually, when artist will have a concert in Bangkok, they will go straight to the airport after the event (This is to avoid further expenses on the side of the organizer/promoter).  Then afterwards, their luggages came! And the instruments!xD we then expect that they will come after it. But I was wondering why there is no security assembling in front of us. We waited for some more minutes, we already had theories on our minds on what reason that the boys still is not arriving.  Ate Gi said that the staffs will check-in the luggages first so that the boys can go directly to the immigration counter. Ammie also told us that one of the staffs asked on which way the boys can go inside the airport easily, and it was on gate 7 where we are waiting.:D We waited again for some more time and there were ladies that are instructing us to sit down.

Then the security came… Then the boys came after! Finally! I first saw Seunghyun with mask and a neck support pillow. And next that I saw was Hongki! I clicked my camera so quickly and to see that it was blurred I didn’t take pictures anymore! After I took a picture, I saw Seunghyun again with smiling eyes! He waved at ate jems because he saw his picture again like at the concert but a bit modified, his forehead has a primadonna card!LOL!Tthen sexy leader, with well defined arm muscles.xD but still no butt.LOL! I didn’t noticed Jaejin and baby!xDD Where the hell are they?! And then when I reviewed my shot, Jaejin is walking after Hongki then baby is walking behind Jaejin and seems like hiding.T^T

We have observed that they just had a bath.LOL! That’s why they have to go back at the hotel. To look and feel fresh! They were the only that did that, so far.:) Finally the airport moment was a success for me!^^ I didn’t bid goodbye, because I know that we will meet again.^^

On the other hand, Ammie went inside with the boys. She told us that when she was giving her gift to Hongki the security pushed it down, so it fell on the floor (as well as the other gifts from fans) but luckily Hongki picked it up!!xD How sweet! He also gives effort in getting small letters.T^T

How to be :)

After many long years, I've started reading again! Yeah, the last book that I've read is 5 People you Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom (way back in highschool!) I'm not a fan of novels, books, etc. When I get a fashion magazine or any type of magazine I just scan on the pictures and that's it!LOL! But this book really inspired me, just seen this in our bookshelf given by a family friend when I get to clean a little.

My favorite quotes! 

I love this line. I am obese, way back during high school days up to college. Now I am getting there to be fit.:) Thank God I am not before, because at the moment I've known how to take care of myself much better and now I really see to it that I am eating good foods.^^ I am really happy.:)  *This book is a compilation of THE BOSS in Kerygma. I am a longtime reader of Kerygma BTW.
