She grinned again at that. “And not everyone has the same sense of fun! Theirs is all ‘fun in the sun, hiking through the woods when it’s a million degrees out’, and mine is more ‘winter wonderland, no sunburns please!’ A small giggle tittered from her lips then, amused as she was by their conversation. She could practically hear Thoran’s scoff and Ash’s exasperated sigh, despite the fact that both were on the other side of the store and not listening to her and her new acquaintance.

“Oh, I wouldn’t necessarily call them judgmental,” Cinder replied thoughtfully. “My brothers are both just really overprotective, that’s all. They tend to forget that I’m older than both of them just because I’m the tiny one and the cute one in the family. Although they do have plenty of childish moments.” Despite her cheeky smirk, Cinder kept an eye on the books he was looking at, making sure they got put back in the right places. “While I’m over here talking your ear off, is there anything in particular you’re looking for?”

Stolas could only stare, eyebrow raised in slight amusement and chuckled softly as he held a small pile of books in his hands. "Now why would they think that? Making snow angels isn't that bad. It's something fun to do in the snow. The demon could only stare for a little before his attention was turned towards the book shelves a few feet away and then back to the woman, looking her over.

"Unless you're not dressed for the weather. But even then, I'm not one to judge."

He didn’t have time to say hello or protest before Kit grabbed him by the face and their lips crashed together in a passionate and somewhat impatient kiss. Ash was panicked only for a split second, gradually melting and allowing himself to enjoy it. Clearly, Kit didn’t care who was watching, and he was starting not to care, either. This felt right. Perfect, even. Instinct drove him to lean back against the wall in order to stay out of people’s way, hands drifting down to hold Kit’s hips. They kept at it, kissing each other breathless and nearly senseless.

“Geez, tell me how you really feel,” Ash muttered with a grin, chuckling as he caught his breath. His arms wrapped themselves loosely around Kit’s waist. “What exactly did I do to deserve such an aggressively warm welcome, huh?”

“Hey, it was your idea to try and fly kites, Mr. Banks,” Thoran joked, quick to defend himself. “And you’re also the one who got it stuck in the first place. I’m just an innocent bystander who came along for moral support. And to tease you relentlessly with Mary Poppins references and songs, but that’s neither here nor there.” The punk theater major flashed his friend a cheeky grin before jogging a few steps over to join him. He had half a mind to grab that tongue once it poked out from between the other’s lips, just to see how he would react, but resisted the urge.

“Gotta admit, though, Callisto, you’re one hell of a climber! How did you shimmy up there so fast without hurting yourself or falling?”

"I'm not going to fall, don't jinx me." Callisto spoke as he shimmied across the tree towards the kite tangled within. Finally he gets to it, gently untangling it from the branches. "it seems okay." He says, dropping the kite down and moved, climbing back down the trunk of the tree. "See? I'm perfectly fine." He sticks his tongue out at him before approaching the kite to take a better look at it. "Doesn't look like it's ripped or anything so we might be good. Just move away from the trees."
