August 2019
My mum and I took a day trip out of Tokyo and headed to Enoshima! It’s a small island south of Tokyo :)

Night photography
I edited the exposure to really show the glowing castle with the setting sunlight. I really love the slow lights on the canal, it really produces a romantic vibe and that makes me feel so happy.

Amsterdam Trip May 2018
I signed up for an Airbnb Night Photography walk in Amsterdam on the last night of my trip. It turned out really rewarding!

NoMo Kitchen, NYC
The first picture is the Bolognese Pasta. I saw the table next to me ordered this, so I just went with it *casual shrug* Anyway, this dish is pretty good. It wasn’t salty and the pasta was cooked al dente. The meat was a bit dry but the sauce itself covers up that. The chef put the right amount of sauce on the plate, so I actually was able to finish the whole plate clean (my own pet peeve)! But the portion is definitely considered on the smaller side. Pro-tip: Cut a small piece of the pasta every time and just chew slower to manipulate your brain that you are eating a lot so you are taking a long time.
The second one is the margarita flatbread I think. My friend has a dietary restriction so this is the gluten free option. I tried a slice and must say, it’s not greasy at all! There weren’t a lot of sauce on the flatbread so when you pick up the square it wasn’t soggy. The chef does a really good job on the food proportion!
My overall experience at the restaurant was pretty great. The food is good and the setting wasn’t as loud as The Smith. It was calm and quiet enough to make conversations and loud enough that there’s no one eavesdropping your conversation. There is a forest-like entrance to the hotel and the ambiance is rather classy with a twist of chic. Outdoor seating is available but I think it only opens up when the weather warms up.
I will definitely return to try their brunch menu! :)
