High maintenance to be low maintenance: the secret to effortless beauty šŸ§šŸ„šŸ° Looking effortlessly natural often takes a little extra care behind the scenes. The key? Investing time in good routines so you donā€™t have to do much daily. Hereā€™s how:
ā€¢Skincare First=Less Makeup
A consistent skincare routine (cleanser, moisturizer, exfoliation and face masks) keeps your skin glowing, so you donā€™t need heavy foundation.
ā€¢Healthy and soft hair
We all know hair can ruin or fix a look. Wash your hair with a gentle but cleansing shampoo, use an hydrating conditioner and brush gently! Apply some hair oil before blow drying. If you need heat, find a good heat protectant and then style your hair! If you want some curls, I recommend you find the best heatless technique for your hair. To keep your hairstyle neat overnight wrap your hair with a satin or silk scarf before going to bed. I personally find hair thatā€™s somewhat messy on purpose so chic: blowouts, curled ends, braids, messy ponytailsā€¦but I also enjoy that pin straight hair look.
ā€¢The perfect manicure is always polished, never overdone
A little care goes a long way, healthy simple nails will always look effortlessly put together. Let your natural nails grow with a nail strengthener and a cuticle oil. Gently file your nails into a natural shape, I like oval, almond or ballerina. Use a sheer nude or a pink polish for that natural glow. If you want something more elaborate add glitters, dainty feminine designs or gems.
ā€¢Classy simple outfits
Looking chic doesnā€™t mean overcomplicating, the simplest outfits can make the biggest impact. I will probably post an outfit Inspo board, stay tuned!

Hi tumblr girls! I want to share with you my routine and tips to stay healthy and in shape

ā€¢Ballet stretching
Good posture is key to look (and feel) good. It makes you look feminine, elegant and confident. Ballet stretching is the best one you can do to achieve a classy posture. You can find videos on YouTube on channels such as ā€œBallet Beautifulā€, ā€œBallet For Allā€ and others. I stretch before my other workouts.
ā€¢Pilates everyday
I do half an hour of pilates everyday! To be more specific I do mat pilates at home. My favourite pilates workouts are the ones from Nikolaā€™s pilates YouTube channel!
ā€¢Run at least once a week
I run an hour every Saturday. If I canā€™t go running on Saturday because of the weather, I replace it with another half an hour of pilates or with ballet stretching. If I have time, I go running other times during the week.
ā€¢Eat healthy food
I eat following the 80/20 rule. It involves eating healthily 80% of the time and being more flexible for the remaining 20%. I enjoy eating healthy meals that include include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and healthy fats. The more variety of foods you consume, the more different nutrients you will get. You can also make healthy sweet goods that are nutrient dense. But I still eat a limited amount of treats (the 20% that the rule allows).
ā€¢Drink water
Drink the right amount of water everyday to reach your hydration goal. Itā€™s different for everyone, but thereā€™s a general rule that can help you calculate your ideal daily water intake: multiply your body weight (in kg) x 0.03L. Of course this number can vary depending on the environment you live in or if you are very active. I personally use this rule as a guidance but I also always listen to my bodyā€™s needs!
