Day 3 of Fit Girls Guide Challenge Today I did a 45 minute bike ride and did not feel like it. My energy was up and down. I had a burrito bowl for lunch that did not agree with me. (Wont make that mistake again) And now I am on my couch with my husband and my two dogs. I hope to go to bed by 9:30pm.

Back & Forth
My Struggle for the past 4 years: My weight
I went all the way down to 145lbs and now I am back to 172lbs. It’s a daily struggle. I just CAN”T and WON’T do it anymore. I want to live a healthy LIFESTYLE not be healthy for a period of time. This time I plan to cleanse my mind, body, and soul. God is in control, not me.
Yes, I want the beautiful body that a lot of women have. BUT I can imagine that it doesn’t come easy. EVERYTHING worth keeping, takes hard work and perseverance. I am ready for my transformation; not just a transaction.
Let’s do this!!!!

First OWS (open water swim) I started my journey as a runner and got introduced to this crazy thing called a triathlon. Swim. Bike. Run. 🏊🏽🚴🏽🏃🏽 I've completed 3 super sprint triathlons to date. All similar distances; 250 yard swim, 8 mile bike ride, and a 2 mile run. I'm ready for my next challenge. A longer distance triathlon. Well in order to do longer distance, you have to move from a pool to open water. Scary, nerve wrecking, dreadful, and all the above. It took me a year to get to this point. I was the one saying I would never do this. And here I am today. Not only overcoming one of my fears, but facing it dead on by challenging myself to go back and complete a race. My journey continues...

Day 1 of my triathlon training.
Today’s workout: Speed work on the track
It was a tough workout considering how humid it was outside. I stuck through though and I tested my Heart Rate for Zone 2 training. Thanks to my Tri-Tribe, there was about 10 of us out on the track at 5:30 this morning!
