Man, I'm really sad about the supposed cancellation of season 3 of mh, but the saddest thing of all is because I already expected it. It would only be a matter of time.

Not just because Nickelodeon is disgusting (with everything they've done to actors and actresses, I'm relieved to know they're being exposed and losing partnerships), but also because of the whole issue of representation.

I remember being outraged when I found out that mh would be broadcast on this channel. I confess that I was even surprised when there was that leak about Clawdeen being sapphic, apart from Frankie and Cleo. I thought "nickelodeon, showing a gay show? After what they did to Korra?"

What irritates me most is that this series has so much potential. If another channel were responsible for the program, like Cartoon for example, I guarantee that the series would be better developed.

Either way, they deserve what's happening to them, I'm just sorry it took so long for the truth to be shown and let's hope this isn't the end of g3 as this series has gained a special place in my heart.

Oh my god, I laughed so hard at this new episode of mh.

First of all, Venus is so cute and cool. I felt sorry for her, trying to be a helpful monster and showing interest in listening to Clawdeen, but it seems our little wolf is too distracted to notice

I confess that I thought the episode would be very different. I actually thought Clawdeen wanted to spend time with Venus because they became friends. But the episode is simply Clawdeen interested in a flower while Venus does all the work to create a pleasant conversation. Sure, she split in two and her personality was fragmented, but the thing is, she didn't do it for Venus. It's a little sad because Venus sincerely shows that she liked Clawdeen

And watching this episode I started to notice that Clawdeen doesn't seem to notice when someone likes her. Both Toralei and Venus have shown more interest in Clawdeen than Clawdeen has in them.

Venus will probably now only appear in specific episodes like the rest of the monsters (like Abbey, Skelita, Mouscedes) and I hope she starts having interactions with Howleen. But when Clawdeen realizes Toralei's feelings it will be very comical.

So, I couldn't contain my curiosity and went to take a look at the summary of future MH episodes and one caught my attention in particular. And now I'm creating theories

Ok, so we'll have an episode focused on Toralei trying to figure out which anonymous monster liked her poetry. I have two distinct deductions, either it is a monster that we already know and the focus will be on the interaction between them or a new character to present a little more content to him. among those we already know and I theorize that it could be one of these characters:

-Clawdeen (in several moments it is shown that she likes to read, my heart would like it to be, but I'm not so sure since she's an anonymous monster so there would be no reason for it to be her because Clawdeen is very open about Toralei. Maybe she will (so as not to make Tora uncomfortable? Maybe, but I still think it's unlikely).

-Twyla or Manny (both love reading, but both read just books)

-Lagoona (she loves romantic things and we don't know the genre of Tora's poetry, although I believe she prefers love stories)

Or it could be a character who has never shown an interest in reading but likes to do it in secret, but at the moment I can't think of anyone who makes sense.

Among the future characters in the series:

-Katty Noir (I strongly believe it could be her, since her storyline has always been based on how Katty wants to have a normal life out of the spotlight, it makes sense that she would act anonymously so that her privacy would be preserved.

Ok, it's almost impossible to comment on all the new episodes, there are so many details, but I can't comment on them all. But I'm still going to make a post with the details I found throughout the series.

But focusing on “Mummy in the Mirror”, do you realize that they simply gave us a taste of Cleo g1 right at the beginning of mh? It's been so long since I last saw the mean girl Cleo who picked on Frankie, it was so nostalgic. I'm so happy. I actually love Cleo g3, she is so sweet and kind with that spoiled princess touch, it was refreshing to have this decharacterization of female rivalry. It's kind of ironic that Frankie and Cleo didn't like each other at the very beginning and now they're dating

Another thing that could not be ignored is precisely that Cleo exposed Toralei's secret and she DID NOTHING. ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME TORALEI? The bully cat from the beginning of the series? Clawdeen, you've made Toralei too soft. The creators created this episode just to humiliate this poor cat, and I'm sorry if you didn't like it, but it's only going to get worse. Anyway, I'm very proud of you Toralei, good kitten.

Anyway, there will be more episodes, I'll probably say how much I loved Venus and freaked out because I can't wait to see her interacting with Howleen

Honestly, I'm getting paranoid about season 2 of mh. Toradeen g1 has been confirmed as canon, but now Venus is coming in s2 and Clawdeen seems to really like her. Did they give us the Toradeen g1 so we wouldn't be disappointed or are they just preparing the couple for the final? Did they mask Howleen as Venus's love interest when it was actually always Clawdeen? Toralei is barely mentioned, will she have to deal with her trauma alone because Clawdeen is so busy right now? It has been said that Clawdeen and Frankie will have a larger role in the story, what will Frankie's storyline be? We will have their parents, Frankie dealing with the distance from Clawdeen and Draculaura.

So, a few minutes long video from the season two of mh has just come out and the first plot they showed us is precisely how the new responsibilities of the ghoul group can harm their relationship

And focusing on Clawdeen's situation as the new wereruler and how busy she is most of the time just comes to mind. How will Toralei react to this? Clawdeen is becoming Catarina, busy and doesn't even have time to talk to her friends. Obviously Deen isn't like Tora's mother, but I'm excited to see how they develop that. Since Frankie are clearly sad now that Clawdeen and Drac won't be able to spend as much time with them, imagine Toralei starting to let her friendships grow now?

They didn't show Toralei in this part and I believe it was on purpose, they only showed the group's plot because it's the tip of the iceberg

I'm going crazy, honestly. Images from season 2 of mh have been released, a preview of the pride month comics have been released, TORADEEN G1 has been released and now the official canon art for toradeen g1 has been released. I'm not fine, I'm shaking

It's been a while since I posted anything so I'm going to redeem myself.

I was scrolling through my feed when I came across a comment that caught my attention, someone said they believed the Toradeen relationship was abusive because it was an bully/victim dynamic. And that made me think a little, is it true?

Firstly, I want to make it clear that Toralei is a bully figure and does very mean and selfish things throughout the series, but what I want to analyze is toradeen relationship fits into this dynamic.

After clarifying, I do not believe that THEIR relationship fits into this dynamic and I will show some points.

From the beginning of the series I noticed that Clawdeen was never the focus of Toralei's bullying, it was Draculaura (and Lagoona). And it makes sense, after all Draculaura is everything she tries to be. Premium student, fearleader, student bloody president, loved by all. Perfect.

Of course, Toralei makes extremely racist comments about humans, but she never says them directly to Clawdeen, it's always in the presence of another monster or to herself. And when they start interacting these comments lose intensity until the moment comes when she apologizes and they finally disappear.

An interesting thing is that Clawdeen has never been averse to interacting with Toralei, she seems cautious, I believe because she considers Draculaura's situation and Toralei reputation as a bully and not because she doesn't like her. Even when Clawdeen confronts Toralei about her actions, it feels more like advice than intimidation.

The situation would be completely different if Toralei bullied Clawdeen and the writers made her fall in love with her bully, which fits precisely into Toralei's relationship with Draculaura, and I know there is a ship (I'm not giving hate, it's more of a comparison about the difference in character interactions).

I don't know if Shea chose to do this because he wanted to eliminate the idea that they consider each other enemies, because to be honest, at no point do they act like rivals (even though it is constantly highlighted that werewolves and werecats are mortal enemies).

Another important thing to remember is that when Toralei was still a bully, they were not friends, not even after the “Power heist”. Their friendship is built little by little and along with this friendship comes the development of Toralei. That's why only in the last episode can we see them as true friends, since Toralei is a completely different monster. Their relationship is free to grow because Toralei has grown up and there is nothing abusive about that. People change and Toralei only changed because Clawdeen gave her that chance, precisely because she had no reason not to do it. different from Draculaura and Lagoona.

Not that Draculaura and Lagoona are wrong. I loved the way they showed that the decision to forgive Toralei is their choice, which is why we don't even see Lagoona interacting with Toralei after she asks for distance to have a healthy coexistence. Draculaura forgives her after a while, but that doesn't mean they are friends. When Frankie and Clawdeen ask, she just says “maybe,” so the conclusion is that Drac is willing to believe that Toralei has gotten better, but it's still a delicate situation.

Anyway, this is just my point of view, don't take this as a concrete truth, everyone has their own interpretation.

Sometimes I'm so focused on Toradeen and everything around her that I forget about my beloved clankie, but man there are so many hateful comments.

I just looked for a few seconds and wow, I saw so many people making excuses to hate such an innocent couple.

There is literally nothing wrong with Clankie, they are two teenagers in high school, every scene makes sense based on their age and relationship experience.

Some people try hard to transform a children's animation into an adult program with super complex themes, when it isn't. I dare say that mh is doing a good job presenting more delicate topics in a lighter and more didactic way for children. So, stop complaining, if you don't like the couple, don't try to invent explanations that don't exist to say that my ship is bad and why yours is better.

We all have our ships of comfort or emotional attachment, you don't have to like it, just respect it.

I recently watched mh again (don't judge me) and started to notice some details that make sense (in my mind).

So I think Toralei's love language is acts of service and Catarina is probably responsible for that (poor kitten). The only way Toralei received affection or attention was when she offered something in return. Now it has become an involuntary action for Tora, everything that is important to her she takes care of because it makes her feel good and useful.

I saved some images to prove my point:

in "Best Fiends" Toralei appears to have volunteered to decorate the school for Ghoul Spirit Day. In that same episode, Toralei says that school means everything to her.

In the episode “Power Heist” we have two different scenes, in one of them Toralei touches up Catarina's makeup for her and in the other she puts the moon claw on Clawdeen. I'm not saying that at this point Toralei does this because she cares about Clawdeen, it could be an involuntary reflex because she feels more relaxed with Deen's presence now.

At the beginning of "The Monster Way" Catarina scratches Clawdeen's photo and Toralei fixes it. There's one thing I find interesting about this scene. Toralei appears to be defying her mother for the first time, fixing something she broke in front of her while taking care of Clawdeen because she deserves to be there.

Later we have the cute scene of Toralei offering to help Clawdeen. In this scene the reason why Tora is acting like this is different, now Clawdeen is important to her, she wants to be useful because that is how she shows affection.

A bonus because I like to think that Selena was setting the table and realized she forgot to get the food, so Toralei quickly offered to get it like the good kitty she has become.

I also intend to analyze Clawdeen to choose which love language she has, but I wanted to see other people's opinions :)

I have some ship headcanon's since I started watching mh and decided to share them (bonus to Clankie because I went crazy when I watched Horoscare for the first time ):

Cats like warm places, so Clawdeen often wakes up with Toralei between the blankets or at her feet, even though she has her own bed.

After Toralei moved in with the Wolf family, other were-creatures are afraid to flirt with Clawdeen because she literally smells like Toralei.

When Toradeen goes out to eat or drink somenthing, Clawdeen specifies that Toralei's milk must be oat milk because any other type of milk is unhealthy for her.

Clawdeen is a fan of Hissfits, so she always begs Toralei to give spoiler about a new song.

Clawdeen likes to send pictures of cute kittens to Toralei, she says they look like Tora just to embarrass her.

Toralei gives her preys to Clawdeen as gifts. Clawdeen never eats, but makes a small cemetery to bury the animals.

Toralei once licked Clawdeen to show affection, when asked why she simply responded angrily and embarrassedly "you smell like dog".

Toralei offers to comb Clawdeen's hair wolf, but she claims she only does it because Clawdeen loses so much fur and it sticks to her clothes.

Even though Cleo has a lamp, the light is a little too bright and sometimes uncomfortable. So Frankie built a projector (like a planetarium) with drawings of scarabs, diamonds and Egyptian objects so that she wouldn't have to be in the dark but would be comfortable to sleep.

Frankie always want to be helpful, so they offer to carry Cleo's shopping even when they can't handle the weight.

Cleo loves to praise Frankie because they always blush and don't know how to react.

Frankie comment on all of Cleo's photos and videos, always saying how incredible and wonderful she is.

Sometimes Cleo doesn't want to be separated from Frankie so Frankie leave one of they hands with her while they are in different classes, so it is very common for other students to find Frankie without a hand and Cleo in the middle of class holding hands with the missing part of Frankie.
