My review on The Foxglove King by Hannah Whitten
I’m conflicted on how I feel about this book. It was a very good story and I liked the main character. It was easy to understand the political system. There were tons of questions that made me want to keep reading. I read this book in a week which is fast for me. However, it felt like a surface level story. Everything was laid out for you. I never had to sit and think about what something could mean. And some people like stories like that, not hating at all. But for me personally I enjoy when I have to stop and think about the contents of the book. With that all being said I do give this book 4 stars. I don’t think I would read it again BUT am I gonna buy the second book tomorrow? yes

Review on A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
This was a very gut wrenching read. I have never sobbed more. However with that being said it was a book I could not put down. The author perfectly displayed what it is like to be human and the struggles humans go through. It captured a very realistic way of how we as humans may deal with our insecurities. This book gave me perspective and knowledge when it concerns the area of mental illnesses and childhood development. This book was an amazing read I give it 5 stars. However, since it was such a heavy book I do not think I could read it again. And if you are interested in reading this book, proceed with caution. This book is veryy heavy so check your trigger warnings.

No matter how something may end you can never convince me loving someone was a waste. Being able to love is a reflection of your own heart.
