Dragon of Dojima is quite literal in a lot of my drawings.

Also, god do I hate coloring metal.

I kind of prefer the sketch on this one. Kushala Daora Kiryu was hell on earth to color, considering the metallic scales.

Also; yes he has tattoos, the other monsters had them too, they just weren’t very visible. Don’t ask me the logistics of how you can tattoo a steel-scaled dragon. It just works.

I keep getting inspired by seeing @snepital and @pinky-lemon ‘s judgment pokemon au’s… they make me want to keep drawing the yakuza monster hunter au 😭… I want to draw more funny yakuzers as funny animals…

Plus, considering the way their aus work I can get creative with it and I don’t gotta fully follow the way the monsters look… they’re… SPECIAL! Cause… they get to be special.

And obviously the monsters have a primitive yakuza society. We going prehistoric in this shit.
