the whole point of a zine is that it's cheap to produce, amateur and homemade. if you're being asked to apply to participate in a print project, it is not a zine. if the final product is being printed and bound professionally, it is not a zine. if you are being asked to enter into any kind of licensing agreement more complex than "my work can be reproduced as part of this publication" it is not a zine. nine times put of ten if the final product costs more than $5 you have left zine country. im so serious about this.

this little make believe game that yall are playing where ur all pretending that we have always been passing as cis men is honestly just really sickening to read. as if trans men have never been sexually harassed or abused because society perceives us as women. im genuinely of the opinion that u all just do not believe trans men face misogyny and thats so unbelievably fucked up and just not based in reality. its actually disgusting and vile.

The same way there are liberals whom get offended at the idea they could hold racial biases because they "don't see race"

There are queers who get offended at the idea that they could possibly contribute to Transmisogyny because "gender isn't real."

Like yeah, in an ideal world none of those things would matter, but the fact of the matter is that society is racist and transphobic, with a particular hatred of black people and trans women.
