and i guess also in general... i’ve lost muse for everyone on here. i guess there’s a faint hope that i might get into this again during the summer but at the moment i don’t have the time, confidence or motivation for rp. it’s a shame - i enjoy rping, i really do. it’s like writing but better in my eyes, and i have so many good memories of doing it before. but i think after leaving it for so long it will be difficult for me to really get back into it, especially with my muses being in somewhat smaller fandoms. 

maybe i’ll come back here one day. maybe i won’t. i doubt any of my old rp partners remember me though, or are even active anymore. i don’t have the motivation to do anything with this right now. i’m sorry.

// …no. at least, i don’t think i have? otherwise i’ve been really ignorant. i’ve often seen posts saying about how you can tell if a rper is abusive, but tbh if the time ever comes i probably won’t be able to do anything about it. i want to give everyone a chance, so i wouldn’t be surprised if i landed myself in a bad situation one day. i’m more worried that people might think i’m abusive, so i really hope not. //

// i think reblog karma can be a good thing, but usually if it’s just something like an ask meme that isn’t intended to start a thread. i don’t agree if ‘reblog karma’ means reblogging, let’s say, a sentence starter meme from someone and then having to send a starter because you reblogged it. i think that is forced interaction, because you shouldn’t have to rp with someone if you really don’t want to. of course, not everyone will agree with me, and that’s cool. //

Jasper felt his own smile form in response as he approached David, despite what he was thinking about. He was trying to think of something to say instead - it would be much better if he didn’t just state it bluntly. But he had to let the other know either way.

❝I was just looking for the wildlife, actually. Nothing more tubular than the forest fauna! But, um.❞

His voice was chirpy, but started to lower when he trailed off. He hated to be the bearer of bad news, even though this was nothing new to them.

David felt a smile pull at his lips when he saw Jasper, it was always a delight for him to see the other. He set aside the flowers he was lacing together, giving him his full attention. “Is anything interesting happening?” David tilted his head to the side curiously.

// five? m’kay, i don’t think i have many interesting-enough facts about myself but here we go… i have two pet cats, 

i was born basically halfway across the world from where i am now, 

i really like making scripts for stage adaptations of my favourite stories/shows/games/etc (even though they’ll probably never happen). the main one right now being homes.tuck (currently in the process of writing it and it is great-),

usually if something has really good music then i will most likely fall in love with it (see: most of my fandoms),

and i can play the violin. not brilliantly, but its something. //

// i’ve only been rping on tumblr for about a year and a half. i had roleplayed sometimes on some games before but in my view that’s not really the same. i was a little dubious when i first saw people doing it because i was still a newbie then but when i saw that it’s kinda like writing stories with other people i got super into it.

since i started in the un.der.tale fandom my first muse was an au sans, who i rped for about 9 months or so? i lost muse for him when i drifted out of un.der.tale, and after a while of not rping anything i made this multi-muse blog so i could rp with other fandoms and characters without having to make a bunch of new blogs.

and i’m still enjoying it so far c: //

It was an unusually quiet night, and Jasper was making his way through the trees to the shore (as he did every night). He had heard footsteps somewhere on the island, which was strange as usually there was too much ambient noise to make them out - yet it was nearly silent, save for the rustling leaves as he walked through. It was almost as if there was some divine, fearful presence on the island.

What he wasn’t expecting when he emerged was to find a tall man dressed in white, staring in the direction he had come. It was such a shock to see this pale person against the dark, foggy lake that he screamed. Jasper took a moment to recover himself before he managed to stammer out a simple question.

❝Who are… Who are you?❞

With the sharp blue eyes, the stark white cult clothing, and the smile on the man’s face, there was something very unsettling about him.

It was no surprise that Daniel thought nothing of the grounds known as “Spooky Island” - he had his own fears, but dark, creepy islands were not one of them. Neither was the thought of ghosts roaming the island - in fact, Daniel could almost sense them nearby, and it was making him feel excited.

Daniel glanced over at the nearby tree, as though he was expecting someone to appear. Never mind his icy blue eyes staring in the dark, for he was most certainly interested.

As much as he hated to admit it, they were perhaps a bit much. But as the self-designated leader, he had to decide on the team’s tactics. If they could start strong, it would be simple.

Gwen frowned slightly in confusion as Jasper spoke, turning her to where he directed to for a short moment. She knew about the home, although she’d never actually been in it - probably because she knew Mr. Campbell, and wouldn’t trust half of the stuff he owned unless it was useful to them. Like drinks.

“You’re just… here? This doesn’t exactly seem like the ideal place for a holiday.”

Gwen wasn’t really sure what to think of this kid. She had many questions, mostly around the shirt he was wearing and why he was wearing it - because Gwen had never seen nor heard of this kid. At least, he kind of looked familar, but she couldn’t really put her finger on it… though, again, Gwen dismissed her thoughts to answer his question.

“Just trying to find one out of fifty watches I’m pretty sure David owns. He’s another Counselor, by the way.”

Her eyes moved to the ground for a bit, but with the kid standing next to her and the questions in her head, she couldn’t quite focus on the search at the time being.

Gwen wasn’t sure whether she was interested, confused, or a little freaked out. Maybe all three.

“So, uh… did you used to go to the Camp…? I don’t remember seeing you at all.”

❝…Uh… yeah, holiday…❞

Okay, sure, let’s go with that. It was better than the alternative true reason. His expression betrayed a little anxiety as hers switched to confusion. How was a new counselor supposed to react to a kid who had died at the camp, anyway? She’d probably quit or something. Which would most likely be for the better.

He relaxed slightly when she explained why she was there. He was thinking of a lot of questions to ask - mostly regarding her experiences and David’s. It took a moment for him to realise that David must have been on the island recently, and he missed him. Whether or not that was a good thing, he didn’t know.

❝Man, losing something out here would be really bad… ‘Specially at night.❞

Jasper paused before he decided to continue.

❝Yeah. I was a radical camper before. But I can’t go there anymore… The camp kinda sucks anyway.❞
