To be honest during filming I was at one of the all time lowest points in my life. I mean, you can literally see it on camera. At the time it really felt like “Unhinged” was the only thing keeping me going.

I was bartending/serving full time, angry at the world, struggling w/ addiction & a dumpster fire of suppressed mental health problems. My agent was mad at me (my fault), I wasn’t making any opportunities for myself just spewing hate & unhealed trauma at the world. If you knew me then, seriously I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart.

Creating this project forced me to address all the things I had been running from…well, 4 years later. That’s how long it took me to watch the footage back.

My hope is that “Unhinged” brings a little joy and laughter to you. I hope it brings perspective & levity to this insane industry we continuously choose to be part of. Maybe it will even inspires a few actors out there to be like, “Hey, I’m not doing so badly after all, look at that chick from “Unhinged”, she’s really fu$cked”.
