Please remember intersex people during these next 4 years. To support and worry about us too, not just perisex trans people. Intersex people are fully affected by the idea of "only male and female allowed" laws. Intersex people are affected by anti trans laws even if not all of us are trans. Many of us can't pass or hide our features, similar to how some trans people can't. We (the systems body) for example are physically incapable of passing as "cis" unless we get surgeries and hormones which still wouldn't change the fact we're intersex. We can't blend in, we get clocked as "queer looking" no matter what we wear or how we act. Don't forget about us when making posts about protecting trans and queer people. - ❔️

i think that while carmy definitely had a very close relationship with mikey and mikey guided him a lot through life, i think sugar was the one who raised him.

mikey was just enough older than sugar that he was the one who raised her up. he taught her how to ride a bike, how to cook for herself, how to do laundry and the dishes, when she was little how to brush her teeth, and everything donna should’ve taught her that mikey had to figure out himself. he braided her hair before school or put it in pigtails every morning.

however, by the time carmy was getting a bit older, mikey stepped back, and thus, sugar became the parent. mikey still taught him to ride a bike and probably how to fight, but sugar taught him how to function. she taught him addition and long division, how to manage his wild curly hair, and how to calm down when he started crying and panicking and hitting his head and didn’t know why when he was twelve years old. he went to mikey when his new crush had a boyfriend, but he went to sugar when he needed a steady hand to guide him
