when i say i am an unaligned man, i mean that i am a man unemcumbered by the confines of masculinity, femininity, androgyny, and neutrality. i mean...not entirely because of dysphoria, but one day!

wore a shirt i got from pride to school today and while the cishet boys i talk to/am friends with seem okay with it, it was quite the barrage of question. the first question being what my pronouns are, to which i responded he/him. so i'm out to them as trans now. they've really started to accept me as one of their own recently, so i hope knowing that i'm a guy too makes them like me more. of course...one of the guys they hang out with asked me if i was attracted to animals so...we'll see.

its ace week ig. ace was the first queer label i was. then for a long time, i wasn't. then i got a partner. then i was asexual again. i put the alloace flag in my pfp. im sex indifferent and perhaps on track to becoming sex favorable, lol. double edged sword though. asexual insecurity is real.

flag id: two flags in the same format. they each have a stripe across the top edge and a stripe of the same size in the center of the flag, forming a capital t. stripes of the same width outline the sides of the vertical stripe and underside of the top stripe, leaving rectangles at the bottom left and bottom right of the flags. the left flag's 't' is blue, the outlining stripes are light sky blue, and the bottom corners are very light cyan. the right flag's 't' is pink, the outlining stripes are light red-pink, and the bottom corners are very light red. end id.

Nonaligned Pride Flag

Non-aligned or unaligned: rejecting binary gender/sex alignments; rejects all gender/sex alignments; aligning with none gender/sex; someone who does not experience strong alignment with either binary gender/sex. A stellar/singular person (stellarian/stellaradic, singularadic/singularian/voidarian, puckian/psamanthian).

Some definitions seem to be similar to abinary-aligned. This flag represents relationship with alignments, not reflecting necessarily one’s gender identity, as a nonaligned person can be (mid)binary or anonbinary, for example.

dissofictional ;; a dissodic term for those who think they are fictional in any way. this can be because of atypical dysphoria, delusion, IRL attachments, psychosis, coping reasons or an alter, causing a disconnect from their actual status. This is involuntary and not a transid/transx esque label and it does not support harmful transitioning.

Andromale

An identity for when an individual is both androgyne and male. This could be used to describe a person's gender, body or both.

There are many ways to identify with this term, such as:

feeling more male than female in your androgyne identity and wanting to reflect that

feeling like you are separately androgyne and male, either fluidly or simultaneously

feeling like you are androgyne mentally/physically but you wish to be perceived as male by others, for any reason

and many more...

There is NO wrong way to identify with this term.

I adjusted some coloring on a previous version of the androgyne flag, I take no credit for the flag itself. The only thing I've coined is the specific label.

im convinced some of y'all straight up do not know what androgyny is. first straw was seeing people conflate androgyny with gender neutrality (which can be androgynous, but I mean people fully thought that androgyny was exclusively genderless aesthetics). and now I've seen someone say "nonbinary people don't need to be androgynous! they can be masc or fem or both!" what do you mean both. that is what androgyny is.

related but slightly to the left thought: sometimes I feel like the queer community thinks androgynous people, especially androgynous nonbinary people, are somehow treated better, or that androgynous enben are not shamed/punished for presenting that way. while at the same time never ever meaningfully considering nonbinary people, & nonbinary people who cannot pass as binary, when talking about gendered oppression.

like yes nonbinary people don't owe anyone androgyny. but also no one WANTS our androgyny. we are not rewarded for androgyny. we are seen as ugly mutilated freaks for choosing androgyny. and people will insist that all nonbinary people assigned female at birth are "TME" as if none of us could possibly have experienced being a visibly trans person with both masculine and feminine features in a highly transphobic society. society does not like androgynous nonbinary people and queer people still suck ass at talking about gender oppression in ways that don't fuck over & rebinarize nonbinary (+ intersex) people
