Dr. Peter Schlumbohn, Chemex Coffee Maker, patented 1941.
Inspired by the Erlenmeyer flask, chemist and inventor Schlumbohm created the famous coffeemaker in spirit of the bauhaus. A feature of James Bond’s breakfast in From Russia with Love, this was the most successful design of over 300 he patented. It is part of the MoMA collection.
