You are my light I come to you, my moon to make waves of the blood in my veins so that I may find steadiness on the seashore where you and I are creating a life together. I come to you, my sun to grow the dark parts of me that, have been denied, so that I may accept myself fully so that the woman that I am is not fractured by society’s obsession with the light. I have a new website dearest sis-stars. Just a base for the sacred feminine poetry book I am releasing within the next few months. Meanwhile, this is something I have been working on. More updates on the book to come. <3 <3 THE REALITY OF WOMAN <3 It has been said that women have expected roles and duties that if fulfilled, make us real women. And if a woman can be categorized under one label, she is a real woman. But if she decides to be something else She is an unstable woman: a confusing, too bold, too daring woman, too risky, too deep, too little woman. A woman who has had the courage to step out of her box will be told to get right back in: “You’ve had your fun, don't make a fuss.” They tell her she can never be (for example) a singer a model a mother a wife good enough smart enough young enough “Well, that’s life”. But it’s too late It’s too late because she’s taken a match to that damn box and her wings have been seared from the cremation of her fears into ashes, Now this woman knows how it feels to cut water on the backs of blue whales, she can’t go back. And now that she’s braved the beat of eagle feathers beneath her, she can’t go back. They had hoped that the box would overpower her not knowing that she would find her voice in silence, discover that standing in darkness opens her up to the light. No She won’t go back. Instead she creates in the stillness of night And births newer versions of herself, wiser than the last, Baptized by ocean spray, under a full moon. She is reborn. www.tychambers.co.uk

When I was young, right into my twenties, I was fascinated by the forest. By its mysterious paths and shadows. By its whispers and song. But as time passed and I experienced life in a way that I felt a deeper connection to my soul and who I truly was and what I was capable of as a woman, the forest seemed to lose more mystery everyday. It's as though I knew where those dark paths led before I walked them, and knew it's song before I heard it. It's only now that I understand that the forest is a manifestation of what lies in my own soul. The more I love life, the more I get to know the forest. Sacred sisters, we rest in the mirror of the all. Never fear the forest, for she is YOU. ❤️🙏🏻🙌

Why the feminine was lost

It gets tiresome,

Trying to envision all the ways

Sacred ideas,

Which are always expressed in the masculine,

Might apply to me.

 I have never broken an exercise-induced sweat in my life

But in my mind I am a gymnast

Twisting and turning

And flipping ‘God’ backwards and forwards

The ‘He’s’

And the ‘brotherhood’

And the ‘son’

And the ‘father’

All thrown about as if we were on stage in a ballet,

 Strewn out on the floor like clothes in a teenager’s bedroom.

Too small

Too big

How on earth can I get these to fit?

 Tossed about like a salad,

Which word tastes the most like ‘woman’?

 Each word, a shard of glass from a broken mirror;

In which one can I see myself?

 It gets tiresome,

To have to translate from male experience

Into female experience

And then apply that message to myself

 It’s like drinking in the masculine

And drowning in it

Until the feminine is expelled from my body, mind and soul in a cleansing:

A watery exorcism

A dispelling of the truth of me; my interpretation of the sacred; my experience with the divine

 And keeps me on my knees,

Forever the daughter

To a single father
