I'm on the roof of my building surrounded by high yellow walls. As a woman I'm not to be seen and so I hide. But there's one woman who shines brightly over men, women and children. She is mother moon. And she lays her cloak of purple over the country to tuck us all in at night. Until my arrival in Saudi Arabia, I'd never seen such a delicate, wild feminine night sky. It's like all the women here have leaked at the edges and spilled pinks and lavender into the air.
