US-Canada Border just passed Pembina, ND. Tip: Choose your lane wisely. We were in a lane where one vehicle was processed per three vehicles in other lanes. Built in 1915, St. Joseph Cathedral is located in Sioux Falls, SD. The Catholic church is not in walking proximity to the Falls Park, so you would have to drive there. We did so at night. Unfortunately, it was too late and Church was closed, so we were unable to appreciate the beautiful inside architecture. A long weekend driving adventure took us to Winnipeg, MB. Winnipeg is some 830 miles, straight up on I-29 motorway, roughly 13 hour drive from our home town Kansas City. We drove through Iowa, South Dakota, Noth Dakota to Winnipeg. On the way back, we took a detour via Minneapolis, MN. We must admit, Winnipeg didn't disappoint us.
