@mushymushrom and I went to another city to present my project to look for funding and maybe team members!! Ofc didnt win anything but that was fun as hell . What an experience

The trip was not without difficulties, of course, but certainly fun and interesting. Pitched my animation project "I saw you in the blueberry bushes". Ofc didn't win anything, because my stuff is still very raw, but im very happy about the new experience. The guys who went further definitely deserve it very much !!

Bought all sortaf thangs, met my favorite artists (pepita jester take my soul), talked to other art peeps, screamed for a little hugged for a little autisted for a little, nothig new .

Just putting this here (a reply to an ask by Rostov, 2011).

Zaumnik — "a writer of futurist fiction, an author of abstruse works" (Ushakov's Explanatory Dictionary). So yeah, I agree, I think the name is closely related to the literary movement.

Also a friendly reminder that in PJÕL a device that makes it possible to get into the minds of other people is called, well, ZA/UM. There's a Russian saying — "взяться за ум" [vzyat'sa za um], which means 1. To get the mind right; 2. Come up with, invent, find some way out. But the literal meaning of the words used for this idiom is "use/take one's mind". I find it funny how it resonates with the purpose of ZA/UM the device.

I've long wanted to point out to any curious DE enthusiasts that "zaum" is actually a common noun. The Wikipedia page is about a Russian post-meaning futurist literary movement, but in the common Russian language this word can mean any nonsensical, long-winded and graphomanic text... so I've always interpreted the studio name as a self-assessment of DE of sorts lol
