I hate how we’ve normalized not caring anymore. Why do I have to act cold and unbothered when that’s not who I am? Society has shaped us into thinking we need to be detached to protect ourselves, but I don’t want to live that way. ‘I don’t chase; I attract’—it sounds good, but how can you expect someone to connect with you if they don’t even know you care? I believe in showing up for people, putting in effort, and yes, sometimes risking getting hurt. I care about people, and I’m proud of it. If that makes me a people pleaser, so be it. I’d rather try than live with ‘what if.’ A kind heart will always win, and the world needs more of them. If you feel deeply and care deeply, don’t let anyone convince you that it’s a weakness—it’s your superpower. 🩷💫
