Залив Робак — один из 12 водно-болотных угодий Рамсарского заповедника в Западной Австралии и одна из самых красивых природных достопримечательностей Брума. Его вход ограничен на севере городом Брум, а на юге – мысами Буш и Сэнди. Залив назван в честь корабля HMS Roebuck, когда тот исследовал побережье Северо-Западной Австралии под командованием Уильяма Дампира в 1699 году.

Залив Робак это тропический морской курорт протяженностью 550 км (210 миль). Он «прославился» прежде всего своими яркими красно-оранжевыми песчаными пляжами, с мангровыми зарослями, которые отчасти находятся в лазурных водах Индийского океана. Изменение цвета приливов и отливов залива Робак поражает воображение. Во время отлива молочно-бирюзовые воды отступают, обнажая горизонт илистых отмелей красно-оранжевых оттенков.

На северном берегу залива возвышается длинный и низкий красный утес высотой 2–6 м. К суше от засаженных мангровыми зарослями ручьев вдоль восточного берега находятся голые равнины, которые затопляются только во время высоких весенних приливов, а гиперсоленая почва препятствует установлению растительности, за исключением некоторых участков самфира.

Залив Робак используется для отдыха и туризма, популярны такие виды деятельности, как рыбалка, осмотр достопримечательностей и наблюдение за птицами(в заливе регулярно проживает не менее 22 видов куликов).

Roebuck Bay is one of 12 Ramsar wetlands in Western Australia and one of Broome's most beautiful natural features. Its entrance is bounded to the north by Broome and to the south by Bush Point and Sandy Point. The bay is named after the ship HMS Roebuck when it explored the coast of North West Australia under the command of William Dampier in 1699.

Roebuck Bay is a tropical seaside resort stretching for 550 km (210 mi). It is "famous" above all for its vibrant red-orange sand beaches, with mangroves, which are partly located in the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. The changing colours of the tides at Roebuck Bay are amazing. At low tide, the milky turquoise waters recede, revealing a horizon of mudflats in red-orange hues.

The northern shore of the bay is dominated by a long, low red cliff, 2–6 m high. Landward of the mangrove-lined creeks along the eastern shore are bare plains that are flooded only during high spring tides, and the hypersaline soil prevents vegetation from establishing, except for some patches of samphire.

Roebuck Bay is used for recreation and tourism, with popular activities including fishing, sightseeing and birdwatching (at least 22 species of waders regularly reside in the bay).
