Here i come back! So nowadays i really need more money to pay any bills for the new house i gonna move too. I also gonna save money to continue my study to the next degree while my current work is not enough to pay all the stuffs i need to prepare for the study. No need for waiting for the slots at the time because i always open to any request whenever (unless too many requests for one time, i need to manage into slots).  For each commissions i accept only paypal payment. Forging A Nightmare

Tickled to announce that my short story “Forging A Nightmare” was a winner in the Ethereal Valentine Contest. The story had to contain elements of the paranormal, some romance, and/or an LGBTQ+ theme. The story had all three.

Although written for the contest, the short story is a lost chapter of my novella “Feast or Famine”, which was first-runner up in the 2018 Open Novella Contest.

The universe is definitely trying to tell me something about these particular characters and their story! I’m listening!

We’re taking steps to protect against future interference in our political conversation by state-sponsored propaganda campaigns

Hi Tumblr,

We’re all grappling with the influence that state-sponsored disinformation campaigns can have on our political conversations—and how wide-spread that interference turned out to be. So please take a moment to read this, think about it, and talk about it.

Last fall, we uncovered 84 Tumblr accounts linked to the Russian government through the Internet Research Agency, or IRA. These accounts were being used as part of a disinformation campaign leading up to the 2016 U.S. election. After uncovering the activity, we notified law enforcement, terminated the accounts, and deleted their original posts. Behind the scenes, we worked with the Department of Justice, and the information we provided helped indict 13 people who worked for the IRA.

Now that the investigations are done, we want to let you know how we’re going to help protect Tumblr in the future and what you can do to help.

Here’s what we know about these accounts

The IRA employs more than 1,000 people who engage in electronic disinformation and propaganda campaigns around the world using phony social media accounts. Their goal is to sow division and discontent in the countries they target. What makes them so difficult to spot is that they’re not spambots. They’re real people who get trained and paid to spread propaganda.

As far as we can tell, the IRA-linked accounts were only focused on spreading disinformation in the U.S., and they only posted organic content. We didn’t find any indication that they ran ads.

Remember, the IRA and other state-sponsored disinformation campaigns play off our zero-sum politics. They want to drive a wedge between us so that we spend our time fighting with each other instead of building towards the future. We’ll be watching for signs of future activity, but the best defense is knowing how they operate and how to judge the content you see.

What we’re doing in response to the interference

First, we’ll be emailing anyone who liked, reblogged, replied to, or followed an IRA-linked account with the list of usernames they engaged with.

Second, we’re going to start keeping a public record of usernames we’ve linked to the IRA or other state-sponsored disinformation campaigns. We’re committed to transparency and want you to know everything that we know.

We’ve decided to leave up any reblog chains that might be on your Tumblrs—you can choose to leave them or delete them. We’re letting you decide because the reblog chains contain posts created by real Tumblr users, often challenging or debunking the false and incendiary claims in the IRA-linked original post. Removing those authentic posts without your consent would encroach on your free speech—and there have been enough disruptions to our conversations as it is.

What we’re doing to stop future disinformation campaigns

You’ve probably read that U.S. intelligence officials expect foreign agents to try similar propaganda campaigns in the future. We’ll be monitoring Tumblr for signs of state-sponsored disinformation campaigns, and if we see anything we will…

Terminate the accounts and remove their original posts.

Notify you if we determine that you’ve liked, reblogged, replied to, or followed a propaganda account.

Add the username to the public record.

Alert law enforcement.

There are also things you can do to help stop the spread of disinformation and propaganda.

Be aware that people want to manipulate the conversation. Knowing that disinformation and propaganda accounts are out there makes it harder for them to operate. The News Literacy Project has this handy checklist for spotting their tricks.

Be skeptical of things you read. Disinformation campaigns work because they know people don’t fact check. Look for reliable sources, and double-check that the source really says the same thing as the post. You can also check Snopes and Politifact. Both are award-winning resources and usually have the latest viral claim fact checked on the front page. 

Correct the record. When you see people spreading misinformation—even unintentionally—politely say something in a reblog or reply. If it’s your friend, send them a message to let them know.

One last note: Please vote.

Transparency won’t mean a thing if we don’t participate in the process. Whatever your political stance, voting ensures a government that represents your interests. For our U.S. users: You can register online or by mail, and many states are holding primaries right now.

Psycho pass novel Bonus Track

About a possible third season….the question is not IF but WHEN it will be. There were rumors spreading in the net weeks or months ago, and possible spoilers too. Now after having read this Bonus Track part, I understand where they took the ideas. As far as I’m reading it, this novel seems like a bridge that connects the aired movie with a future season, and it’s thrilling in so many ways! I won’t lose hope to see Shinkane happen.

This is the third and last part of the Bonus Track at the end of the novel. It takes place after the election of Chairman Han. It’s all about Kougamis’s thought. I think it would be a good start for the next season. And guess who might be the next villain?

Time had passed since then* and Samurin was dead too. About that, he doesn’t mean to blame the Public Safety Bureau. Samurin was a valuable man, but since he had been so careless to carry out willfully a terroristic revenge against Japan, an act Kougami and Sem deprecated, he was beyond salvation.  Of course, he’s no wrong saying that someone must have cajoled Samurin with sweet talks…… Anyway, Tsunemori Akane showed up here, Sem was dead, the price was heavy but a democratic election has been carried out in this country.

About the poll results, Kougami has no right to be fussy. It’s all popular will.

Before leaving SEAUn, there were things Kougami had to do.

……Had Samurin been beyond saving?

“Here? …..”

Never ceasing his search, Kougami had finally found a starting point for his activity in Tougadani Senichi’s SEAUn**. The base was disguised as a trading company office, placed in a multiuse building of a bustling quarter. As it had happened while he was playing the role of military adviser for the resistance forces, it took him some time to reach this place.

On the front door a strict electronic log. Once entered, first on the way was a booby trap*** made with a hand grenade. Just entering that office was hard enough. The smell of mildew and wood, distinctive of a room not aired out for a long time, was mixed with a stale air damp and faintly acidic.

“And now….”

On a desk, he finds a bulletproof notebook……but he doesn’t understand why setting a trap for destructing evidence. If it was for Kougami, he would put a system in the portable terminal and in the notebook to erase all the records when entering a wrong password. Tougadani must have done it too.

“It’s your turn, Choe Gu-sung….”

Kougami makes a wireless connection between the portable terminal and the notebook. This portable terminal is a modified object he discovered in Makishima’s safety house. The installed system contains many software designed by a shrewd cracker called Choe Gu-sung. It works in general for all the cracking types, codes breaking and passwords violation.

The cracking is a success……Kougami browses Tougadani’s notebook. There is no sign someone has used this notebook since the day Kougami assassinated Tougadani.

He spends some time to inquire into the data. The records of Tougatani’s operations abroad. Many illicit tactics have been carried out to allow Sibyl System’s expansion overseas…….it may be of some use. Kougami makes a copy of a part of the archives on his portable terminal.

However, he’s far from finding the information he’d like to know the most.

“And this….?”

It’s a carefully crypted file. According to the hidden performance monitor, the artificial intelligence is under automatic update. Under automatic update? And the BOT for the information gathering? Kougami commands Choe Gu-sung’s program to break the codes.

If he fails the destruction of evidence may start, but there’s no way he stays and watch.

“…!”

The file has opened. Kougami opens his eyes wide to that content. These are the top secret data of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  It seems that Tougadani ex functionary of the Ministry of Welfare, was cracking a special operation section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It’s a thing like “It takes a thief to catch a thief”, uh?

He browses once again into the secrets of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs……and here he finally gets the answer he was looking for.

“Just as I suspected….!”             

Being in touch with Samurin’s group, the special operation section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs showed them the way enter illegally in Japan.  Arranging a set of high tech equipments too,  advanced glasses etc…..

I guess those Ministry people lured Samurin’s group with honeyed words.

You can be useful to the resistance forces…… there is opposition rising within the japanese government too. There are powers opposing to Sibyl System’s expansion abroad.  We want you to take the lead and carry out terrorism on a massive scale…..Have they used such appealing words?

There’s a record of the moment when, using memory scoop as a countermeasure, the Public Safety Bureau gave drugs to Samurin’s group to carry out the operation until reaching the mindset.

Samurin’s group has been tricked.

In the end, everything had been decided by Sibyl System.

“No way I can leave the matter as it is….”

He’s not an opponent who can do something right now.

But, one day.

…..he will surely pay them back.

*The first sentence refers to the time Samurin and Kougami still fought together, with Sem and the others. Samurin admired Kougami so much for his skills. And Kougami is remembering those moments.

**It’s the first time I hear oabout Tougadani Senichi. He seems to be a member of a Japanese Ministry, and Kougami killed him, I don’t know why. I haven’t seen him in the movie, but he’s present in Psycho-pass All Star Real Act. If someone knows something about him, feel free to add comment. I’m quite curious.
