Hey everyone on Tumblr, I just launched my first ever original comic on Kickstarter!!

Regan Ramone is the last living human in a world overrun by anime girls; she must fight through them to get medication for her schizophrenia while accompanied by hallucinations of best friend and ex lover Sandra, and childhood pet Mimi! Follow her zany adventure to make a new world involving cheap humour and pop culture references!

The purpose of my Kickstarter is to make this my main stable income to have time to produce this short series. I have multiple mental illnesses including autism, depression, and PTSD that inhibit my ability to hold a standard job, so funding this project would ensure I could get this story out without having financial worries to hold the creation process back. And then in the future I hope to continue making more comics and more stories!

How would Nevana react to the events of this world? How would she feel, if she could experience the world I am in? In my comic, she lives in a post apocalyptic world. There are no laws. No rulers. People try to be, but none succeed. She has spent the bulk of her life in this godless, lawless world, where everyone is trying to find their own sense of justice on their own with no sense of direction but their experiences and mistakes. I've been trying to think of something motivational for her to say. Nevana is usually sarcastic and witty and makes light of everything, but I have no idea how she would react in this world. I may sound crazy but I have always felt what she has. Before Atom was made, she had a different brother in the story that was an OC of someone I knew. When we split ways, I felt so upset for losing my brother. But... I don't have a brother and I didn't know what it felt like to lose one. But I felt it. And now... I don't know what she would feel in this situation? She's my own character that I've had since 2012 and I don't know. I was waiting to post about the current events with a related drawing as tribute, but I just didn't know how to express it since I am not aware of how to handle these things on social media and am not a POC. I cannot possibly speak for them, but I want to do my best to uplift black voices. Feel free to ask me to share your own art about the current events and racism to my story. If enough people want me to share then I'll make a group collage of all the pieces and make a permanent post on this account. I hope this tribute piece I have made is enough to express the sorrow and confusion that I feel for those who are so scared for their lives and angry at the world. People usually tell me that I'm good at expressions and conveying emotion...but this time I don't agree. I can't put enough behind it to make a quality piece. Because I don't fully understand things. But I'm trying, and over the past few days I've learned a lot. Please remember to stand up for injustice whenever you can. It's everyday bro 👌 This is my mood while drawing this comic every day. Little by little. But I love it ✨ A lot of artists will ask me how I improve so fast, and well, because I love making art. So I practice. ✨ I am astonished by the amount of artists who don't practice because they're afraid to fail. In videos I will be posting on my channel soon I talk about perfect practice, why you aren't improving, why most art majors fail, and, well, to just practice. Don't be afraid to make awful art. It's part of the process. I redrew this panel quite a few times til I was happy with Rory's expression. And by the end, I feel exactly what he's expressing, but it's a real emotion.
