Finished a new sibling to my robot masters, Mail Woman! Attached here are her concept art and the initial pitch as well.

People liked the initial pitch so much that the finalized design didn't deviate a whole lot.

"A greek robot modeled after the messengers of the gods to work the management of both physical and digital mail.

A hopeless romantic who is in love with the concept of love. She tends to fall for virus-ridden e-mail such as Chain Mail (out of fear) or the ILOVEYOU virus (out of a need for love).

As a result, she gets sick and disoriented easily (a bad thing given she's a workaholic), but somehow -call it a favor from the pantheon- her system remains stable and working in spite of the ridiculous amount of viruses in her system, they seem to be bottlenecked somewhere in there. So she plows through her job with... not that many major incidents."

about my current situation below the cut

a bit about my situation currently im looking to get out of a harmful living situation. i cannot get a "normal" job due to my anxiety and i need money to afford ubers to/from therapy, my therapy bills, and my medication. i also have to pay for my cat who i am trying to find a temporary home that way i can get myself out a bit easier. my step mom has two transphobic/homophobic sons and due to a recent event in the house i have found that nothing will be done about it. i get gaslit, i have to care for our 8+ cats mostly alone despite only having 1, they have too many animals to care for, etc. im currently bouncing between home and my friend's house to keep myself out of the situation at home for as long as possible

UPDATE: my family recently told me that i have to start paying for everything including food, toiletries, etc on my own, so this is much more urgent for me especially since i was hardly able to afford my medication and transportation beforehand. im trying to find a place to live in order to get out of here as soon as possible so i can hopefully save up as much money as i can before i have to spend all of my savings on my needs. they said that if any of us living here cannot do this they will be writing contracts for all of us, meaning if one of the two other people that have to pay for their own needs dont do so i also get screwed over because of it.

A tip for the artists out there: if you want to practice your craft, try out doing a "Line Economy Test".

The basic way to explain it is "how many lines does it take me to make my design to be recognizeable?"

Its not a matter of doing the drawing in [X] amount of lines, because that's just disruptive. Rather, its a matter of seeing how quickly you can get something going and how easy you can do the character.

The higher the economy, the harder it is to draw multiple times.
