This is not my usual post. Not at all.

Did you ever wonder in history class how so many people advocated and voted for Hitler in 1933? Now you know. Fascism has no place in America. The generations of the future will look back and wonder how 60 million people voted for it. Your Grandparents or Great Grandparents look down in shame and wonder how their descendants elected someone who advocates for the ideology they fought, bled and died to destroy in Europe not even 100 years ago. I hope this brings even an ounce of shame to any Trump voter reading this, but who am I kidding, from the man who admits to sexually assaulting women, there is no shame.

If you voted for the fascist Donald Trump this election, I do not want any sort of relationship with you. I do not want to be friendly, or cordial. I do not care how you know me, or if you’re related to me. If you actively made the choice to elect a convicted rapist, felon, fascist pig to office, your morals have failed you. Just unfriend/unfollow/block me. And don’t try and repair any relationship we may have had.

And for those who are just as shocked and upset as I am, the time for action is now. Go get involved. Don’t be remembered as the bystander in history.

As a black mixed person, I am scared.

As a queer person, I am scared.

As a girl, I am scared.

And I am in a good situation compared to others. If I’m scared, what about them? Trump wants to get rid of immigrants and start project 2025. This feels like a fever dream.

For my trans friends, I am scared.

For everyone who doesn’t have privileges, I am scared.

I’m scared we have to spend 4 years with that man in office in charge of our already fucked up country.

I’m just scared.

If there's something that I've learned from the US election is that no matter how well prepared a woman is to take on a job, there will always be one mediocre white man that will be chosen for it just because he's a mediocre white man.

To the men who voted for Donald Trump today:

When your girlfriend gets pregnant, and you’re not ready to become a father, and you’re forced into a position that cripples you emotionally, financially and irreversibly, remember: you did this.

When your sister’s pregnancy turns out to be ectopic, and she can’t get the life-saving medical care she needs and dies a completely pointless, preventable death, remember: you did this.

When your 12-year-old daughter is raped by her soccer coach — after he’s legally allowed to strip off her pants and peep at her genitals, because the existence of trans kids terrifies you — and she steals your shotgun and kills herself in your garage, remember, first and foremost: you did this.

Hundreds of thousands of people are going to die because of the decision you made today.

You did that.

the most disturbing thing isn’t dude bros voting for trump. the most disturbing thing is women, trans, queer, disabled people and people of color voting for trump. it’s disheartening seeing how many women, trans, queer, disabled people and people of color turn out to be trump supporters.

sorry but that man isn’t going to protect you when he’s president. you are betraying your own communities who are trying to protect you at best, voted your own rights away at worst. and for what?
