The year so television is continuous crap all in a row.. Britain's Got Talent, X Factor, Celebrity Jungle, Big Brother, and fucking cake and garden shows. It's crap! Then you read the news and the only thing the media care about is these shows, or what some tart from another so called reality TV rubbish is wearing on a high street.

There's no chance of someone bringing Games Master or Games World back because everyone's watching Twitch and giving people money for no reason. Thank God Crystal Maze is coming back though, there is some justice. :D

The good stuff.. Game Of Thrones, Walking Dead, Lucky Man, Fortitude, Westworld, and starting soon is Jamestown that looks really interesting. Doctor Who, think I'll wait until next series to say it's good, let's get rid of Capaldi first. :)

Teresa May is a clever bitch!

I’m going to direct anyone to this blog if they ever come up to me again and talk about the 8th of June general election, or say something like ‘I think she’s going to lose’. No, she isn’t! She’s not my cup of tea but she’s one clever fucker, and she’s better than all the other party leaders, which doesn’t say much really does it?

Teresa May has called a snap general election and I have nothing but respect for her decision. She hasn’t been elected, and neither has Jeremy Corbyn of Labour, Paul Nuttall of UKIP, or the sell out Tim Farron of the Liberal Demoprats. Everyone who understand politics will know that a couple of years ago, every leader of the 4 main parties were different, and so we need this election. It came a lot quicker than I thought, buggered me up a bit for running for parliament in 2020 but I doubt I could afford it anyway, even though my ideas are better than what anyone else has.

I just realised, I missed the Green Party out of my list above, and their leader... whoever that is. I don’t really care for the Greens. If they get in, the country’s debt will overflow and we’ll be worse off than Greece... or Afghanistan. Except instead of it being a big desert, everything will be green and you’ll have to hide your farts in jars because if they Green Party smell something that could destroy the ozone layer, they’ll probably tax you on it so that students can go to University for free.

Teresa May, yes, clever that one. She knows she’ll win, and right now as Labour are full of shit and dying out, and once again lose pathetically in Scotland which guarantees the Conservative Party a clear win, she knows she has it in the bag. Not only that, she can be an elected leader and tell the fossils in the EU to fuck off properly.

So to clarify, she’s done this because she knows she can win, she’s not doing a terrible job to be honest, and even though it doesn't matter which party gets us out of the EU because they’re all crap, she’s probably the best person for the job. Good timing Teresa, you clever bitch. She’d hate this blog if she ever read it. Don’t worry, you’ll probably get my vote anyway, UKIP have gone tits up, and who needs them now anyway considering we’re leaving Europe. Yeaaaah! Lib Dems are the only proper pro-EU party now. A bunch of idiots who can’t make their own decisions, that’s the Liberal Democrats.

Looking for ward to this general election, should be an interesting one. I hope there will be enough room in the houses of parliament to hold all the extra Conservative MP’s they’re going to get on the 8th of June.

Why do people have to be so greedy?

Why the fuck are people so greedy?

If all the billionaires worked together and organised a proper organisation to help the poor and starving, famine would disappear within a year. That includes the rich arseholes in Africa who run the countries, they get the aid money and have a buffet with it.

Greed (not mentioning religion on this one) is usually the cause of war. The rich get richer, the poor get a gun put in their hand so they can feed their family. I don't understand why people can be so fucking selfish.

The good people who would do something good for others, don't have enough money to save the world. The rich who make millions every year just want more money to get on the Forbes rich list, and that's it. It's these people who can really help.

Current status of planet Earth due to greed. We're looking at a third world war, the rich in poor countries are keeping their citizens uneducated to help their own life, and the seas are being destroyed, skies polluted, all to make more money, and all the while making sure we're all dead within the next 100 years.

What's the use of money if we're all dead? The answer from a rich person on that would be easy.. "I'm selfish, I live my life for now, fuck anyone else and the future!"

Online People Who Think They’re Famous

Back when I was pretty well known at Expo for filming Cosplay and the Masquerades, I had a few people come up and say they were a fan. I told them I was honoured but I make friends, not fans. So when I see people online now talking about their 'fans', it makes me cringe a little.

20 years ago, people were fans of actors or TV personalities, and the stars went to drama school and worked hard to get where they were. I am a fan of many famous people who work hard, real celebrities. Now, we live in this age of reality TV, people who have done fuck all but pick up a camcorder or kiss their arse on to Big Brother, or sit in front of a camera playing video games asking for donations so they don't have to get a job. I still wonder if major Twitch users pay taxes?

The world of media has changed. The fandoms have changed. Not for the better really. I hardly watch TV, I have a few select shows with brilliant scripts and good actors, but TV in general is full of crap soap operas with really dreadful acting, and rubbish scripts (because they're on every day and they ran out of ideas years ago), and we have a lot of reality shows, cooking, garden, and piss poor quiz shows. Too many channels, not enough creativity.

To make myself feel a bit better about my own media when I was filming in 2007 onwards with 8mm, it took me 2-3 weeks to rip all of my videos together, it was hard work and I loved it. Now, if I make a video, it's too easy and to be honest, it's not as much fun. I don't know why I'm complaining about that, maybe I liked actually doing something with editing, I know I was a lot more creative back then. This whole new generation of how people are puts me off I think? I know I retired filming cosplay because the scene changed, elitism became a thing, and the fun died. The further we go with social media and people thinking they're important, the less fun it gets.

Sorry for my rant, sometimes I have to get these things off of my chest. Maybe I'll do this every Sunday and make a rant Bible? Not good. :D

Preparing Adventure Week 3 

This is the beginning of my rough plan of Adventure Week 3. I have notes ready to write down, which I'll do after this photo. Don't want to reveal too much. ;)

What is Adventure Week? It's something of an holiday, a load of fun plans in a week and always in May when it's nice weather. We do this every two years, take loads of photos and I make a set of videos for my YouTube channel.

I usually attend the London MCM Comic Con / Expo, which I'm starting to regret not going to at all this year. Can't be helped. Got loads of other plans though. In the 8 days laid out, I only have one day empty. We'll sort that out easily enough.

Usually an Adventure Week would include Comic Con, cinema, game days, walks, and other fun activities, and the previous two have gone on for 10 days. It's Maverick's first Adventure Week, I hope when he grows up, he'll take the helm of these crazy experiences.

Anyway, time to plan. Doing this now will help me feel a bit better. Been really ill for over a week, need something to look forward to when I'm feeling like crap.

Westminster Attack

It's terrible we still live in a world with idiotic brain washed greedy idiots who want to hurt innocent people. I have a love for London beyond what anyone knows, but even if it wasn't in my favourite city, terrorist attacks are pathetic. A lot goes through my mind after this...

The poor people effected by this, a memory they should never have, and family and friends of the people who died too soon because of some horrible brain washed murderer

Where and when does this end?

A selfish thought also comes to mind. I'll be in London with my friends in a couple of months. Because I use Westminster Bridge, I can't help but think 'could I have been a victim?' or 'could I have lost friends or family because of this?' Terrorism is unpredictable and London is always a target.

Could they have kept the terrorist alive? They always get shot and killed, don't they? I don't know the situation but I'm sure the Police are crack shots when it comes to Parliament. Couldn't they shoot the little bastard in the knee caps and shoulders?

You always hope this never happens again, unfortunately in this time of war, it's always a matter of when it's going to happen, and where next?

Switch: Nintendo’s Last Stand

Nintendo Switch. The beginning of the end. An amazing idea, I do want one, but it's a waste of time seeing as the history of gaming proves this kind of thing will always be a novelty.

I have predicted that Nintendo could be a game developer only by 2019. Might be cutting it a bit fine but I expect that announcement will come as this is Nintendo's last stand in a tough market with Sony and Microsoft leading the race. Also PC gaming and mobile gaming are popular formats.

Nintendo will do as they always do, make their own games unique to this console, and it'll be the same old thing. The Wii U proved people are fed up, and trying to make a hand held and home console in one, seriously, it'll sell well at first as they always do, then it'll dry up.

I would love to see Nintendo merge with Microsoft Xbox, keep the DS on the go as it is the best thing they ever created, and we get Mario, Zelda and Pokemon games on Xbox One.

I know some people would hate Nintendo games on Xbox, but in my eyes it's the only way forward. Nintendo keep bringing out the same Pokémon games with very little added, when we all want a Phantasy Star Online type Pokémon game, and releasing Animal Crossing which is never a finished product over and over again could do very well with Microsoft's help.

I hate to see companies fail, it was horrible when Sega finished up with their Dreamcast, but in the end they became a successful game developer and do very well in the arcade market. Nothing wrong with sharing and going a different direction, and the Switch will force Nintendo to do so.

The above is what I put on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. I still feel this way since the release of the Switch, and seeing their terrible adverts makes me cringe. I think they’re really holding a lot of hope on Mario Kart as well.

FREE XBOX GAMES - MARCH 2017

On Games with Gold for March 2017, you can play some really awesome Xbox games. The big one I’d say is Evolve: Ultimate Edition. It didn’t sell as well as it should have so I guess that's why we’re getting it for free? Layers Of Fear is the one kicking the month off. That’s all on Xbox One.

Xbox 360 has the usual two free titles. Borderlands 2 and Heavy Weapon, both worth a download if you haven’t already bought them.

Roll on March, especially March 16th. Going to be a riot when that freebie is available.

Worksop New Media - Why?

I never thought I’d be typing this. In fact, a few weeks ago, I didn’t think I’d be blogging again. A couple of years ago, I made all of my Worksop videos on YouTube.. Private! The town needs help in a lot of ways, from educating people to stop smashing things up and fighting, to the council making sure things are working properly and shops are staying open. I came to the conclusion that Worksop didn’t deserve my attention. Just now, looking on YouTube and putting Worksop in the search bar, there are a few videos of historic value which I respect 110%. Then there are the ones which concentrate on criminals, these videos bring our town down.

I’m back making new content in Worksop because I hope these videos will be looked back on for historic purposes. They might not be high quality, my camcorder is getting on a bit, but they’re there, and not a lot of other people are doing this, so my media on Worksop is unique. I have also added a bit of fun with my ‘Worksop Treasure Find’, also known as ‘WTF’.

I do have aims and main reasons for making new media about Worksop...

1: History. There’s nothing like looking back on old photos and videos, and seeing how things have changed. This is extremely important.

2: I enjoy making videos, always have, always will. Simple as that.

3: To hopefully make a few new gaming friends. Not just the video gamers, but the board gamers. The geeks that don’t usually come out because the world is crap and people can be horrible. I want those people to know I’m safe, friendly, and we can play some good games together. I know there are a few people in Worksop that are too shy and can’t find the right people to relate to, or people that they can get along with because there’s a lot of drinkers and smokers around that aren’t good on the eyes, ears or nose. I’m not one of those people.

4: The ego one, and my mother’s idea. One of my aims is to one day turn the Worksop Christmas lights on. I have never been to a switch on because I’m ALWAYS working when they put them on. I could get out of work and come and do it if I got the opportunity. It’d be great fun as well.

My first new video is on today, going down Bridge Street, Bridge Place and ending up at Victoria Square, while nipping in to the Priory Shopping area as well. It’s always a nice time to film this time of year with the Christmas decorations being up, and the town having two Christmas trees is always nice.

It all begins on 4th January 2017. I have a video coming up of Bridge Street in Worksop, and I’ve put a Treasure somewhere on the street. All will be revealed at the end of the video and whoever gets it first, keeps it. You’ll never guess where it is. Haha.

The treasure is a pixel art super mushroom from Super Mario Bros. You watch the video, go and get it. Oh, and do a spot of shopping at the same time. ;)

I don’t want to make resolutions for 2017, I am making aims. By the end of 2017, Tonyo TV will be better, I wont swear as much, people wont get upset by my political views because I’ll keep them to myself, my body will be in better shape, and I still don’t know which set of movies I’m going to watch straight through but it’ll be epic.
