so usually in the theatre company i’m with we’ll pick one monologue from the actual play to audition for each role, and then one from another piece of media that has, like, a similar Vibe. this is generally good fun. however. nothing could have prepared me for receiving a random 2am text from my co-director informing me she has ‘a monologue from ratatouille for antony’
