Do they have any specific designs or details choices that sticks out ? like Vernias has pink hair or blond or just his normal hair ? Does Nick, Brent, or Eevee wear their glasses ? Do they any visible scars ? How do they see one another like how vernias adores Nick's bright entrance as brent finds him boring-ish . Does Nick think brent looks scary, cool, or just an oddly creepily quiet guy ? How does sophist see vernias ? Does he think hes silly, annoying, scarily nice, or something else ?

Because before this ask, I didn't really think about those aspects about Skill & Spill! So thank you for making me brainstorm some more, it really helped me to establish the pc and other things for the AU some more! Long yap yap answer under the cut (⁠＾⁠∇⁠＾⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♪

💜💚🩷🧡 Their designs/appearances:

💜 Eevee wears a long purple coat, it's like his trademark. Depending on the day and time, he wears fancy attire (a shirt and a vest) or some cozy clothes under it. Fancy attire because he works as a freelance creative developer and often meets with game developers/studios. (I will go in depth about this in a different post :3). He wears his glasses most of the time and is surprised when he finds out Brent wears glasses as well.

💚 Brent in this AU is known for a style that reminds of high school nerds in a way but not too much. He wants to look tidy and neat but without being over the top. However, he doesn't care about any of that when he takes his night shifts. He has a scar slightly over his right elbow, which he got when he was a child. The scar is the result of playing on the playground as a kid and happened by a childishly accident. It is actually a fond memory of his family and happy childhood for him. Reminds him there used to be easier and brighter days in his life. He mostly wears dark blue and green clothes, the cold tones being a huge contrast to Vernias' bright colours. Vern likes to call him "The Grumpy Barista" or simply "Robot" because of his behaviour and demeanour. (I forgot he wears glasses irl lmao.) He wears his glasses when he really has to and sometimes when he takes the night shifts.

🩷 Vernias has pink hair that grows out noticeably but makes him stand out. He therefore often gets called "the pink Barista" or "Kirby Barista" and he loves it. He also wears a pastel pink shirt under his apron, which he never irons (Brent hates to see it). Casually he wears tank tops and loose pants. Vernias has a burn scar on his left arm, it's not too big but noticeable and it happened in his early days as a barista; when he burnt himself on a freshly brewed coffee by being too hectic. He also has a tiny scar on his left index finger from the metal of the coffee machine (he has no idea how it happened). Vern is just a bit too clumsy.

🧡 Nick likes to be flamboyant. He has a style that is a perfect balance between elegant, fierce and laid-back. He likes to draw attention and always walks with a certain confidence only he can harbour. He definitely stands out and it's exactly what he wants and also kind of craves. He sometimes wears his sunglasses, even when he is in a building/in the cafe. He only wears his normal glasses when situations require him to and wears more cozy clothes when he is at home.

💜💚🩷🧡 First impressions of each other:

💜 Eevee:

- he didn't like Brent's vibe at all. Brent seemed so down all the time. Met at the Cafe.

- Eevee made it his secret mission to make Brent laugh or even just smile (which he learns looks and sounds adorable and warms his heart)

- Eevee and Vern got along immediately, Vern kinda thought he was intimidating at first sight, but as soon as Eevee started to speak, they both shared a cheerful mood. They also met at the Cafe.

- Nick and Eevee have been friends since high-school, but actually hated each other in elementary school and bullied one another. They laugh about those memories nowadays and have a very good friendship.

💚 Brent:

- Eevee was annoying at first. Not in the way of bothering you, no. Eevee was annoying because he said the most random and stupid shit - and Brent liked it. Something about Eevee fascinated and yet irritated him from the start.

- Brent and Vern (many of you described them as Squidward and SpongeBob and I ??? (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠) ??? - Idk if that's a good thing?) Brent's first expression of Vernias was actually positive. Vern had an aura to him that was actually charming and helped Brent to loosen up faster than he normally would. (...he normally doesn't.) And while Brent seemed annoyed, they actually balanced each other out nicely and became a great duo in a noticeable short amount of time. Vern always tried his best to create a good mood and lighten Brent up a little, but he also stayed polite and gave him space when Brent wasn't feeling it, which Brent secretly was and is always grateful for.

- Brent and Nick clashed at first. It wasn't too bad, it was just that they couldn't really communicate with each other well. But there has always been a silent mutual understanding in a way both of them don't quite understand till this day.

🩷 Vernias:

- He saw Brent and immediately asked himself "what an awful life did this man live until this point?" Because Brent looked like a tired cat that didn't care about anything anymore. Vern didn't know how to handle Brent at first, but he tried his best and acted nice yet polite towards Brent in the first shifts they shared together. (Vernias was the one who showed Brent everything and trained him and such, like Brent was his trainee.)

- Eevee came into the Cafe for the first time and Vernias thought he were getting robbed. (Cuz Eevee wore a huge ass grin and his purple coat just stands out.) But then Eevee just stumbled over his words as he tried to order something way too sweet, and Vern immediately knew the guy was chill. Vern randomly dropped "purple suits you really well!" Before Eevee left the cafe. He thinks about this random compliment he gave Eevee everyday.

- Vernias had mixed feelings when he saw Nick for the first time. He had noticed Nick in the streets many times before, but when Nick entered the Cafe for the first time when Vernias had an early shift, Vern was frustrated by how Nick carried himself all high and mighty. And then Nick acted like he was the ruler of the town and the owner of the shop, leaning on the counter and pulling his sunglasses down slightly to look directly into Vernias' eyes. Gay panic endured for some seconds, but he registered the order that also sounded like an order. "I get a large cappuccino with three sugar and almond milk." And Vernias was between the thoughts of 'you can get a slap in the face and the hell out of my cafe' and 'you can get a kiss and everything you want, King'.

🧡 Nick:

- Eevee is his ride or die. He hates and loves the dude but hates the fact that Eevee does not seem to know the meaning of the terms "privacy" and "boundaries". They bullied each other in elementary school but are inseparable since high-school. They spend a little less time together in real life nowadays, but are still very best friends. Though Nick sometimes wants to hit Eevee on the head.

- Like i said, him and Brent didn't really get along at first but shared a silent connection and mutual understanding. Both of them were(are) secretly tired but act differently about it. They frowned at each other on their first encounter.

- Vernias was looking way too cheerful for his taste - and the fact that he was also behaving so cheerful was not helping. He ordered his cappuccino casually and Vernias just smiled at him brightly and nodded very fast, before humming a tune as he turned his back to Nick to prepare his drink. Also Nick thought Vernias' voice was way too loud (maybe because it was early in the morning, but Nick kept the impression that Vern speaks a little too loud for his taste and hearing)

I don't have a lot to add because I totally agree. There is a huge line between enjoying something quietly and pushing it into someone's face. I don't have to explain why this applies to rpf especially cause Starry did so perfectly.

Particularly if you are aware; It's disgusting to know people actually want the pc to notice rpf/nsfw etc. because ??? Where is your brain at this point? This could result in so many bad things and I fear that one day we will reach this point if stuff like this goes on. Imagine they see this and get uncomfortable (which is totally understandable) then when. Then. What.

Do we really want this to happen? Because if it does, I don't think the pc will remain the same anymore, not just in regards to their community. And it pains me to think about it. So for the love of god and everyone

Respect boundaries. Know where the line is and do not cross it. No one is going to get hurt if people peacefully enjoy and share their stuff with others. Others being people NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THE REAL PEOPLE THAT CONCERN IT.

What I feared might happen it's starting to happen... *sigh* there's a reason rpf stays confined on its own space, peeps. And why those involved shouldn't stumble upon it nor we should demand more "hints" or "shipping moments" or even "nsfw hints".

It's crap like that what caused Markiplier and Jacksepticeye to not interact for years... Invading their privacy and boundaries with stuff like this, directly or indirectly, is gonna end up badly... I've played these games before, blah, blah, blah.

Hey, I'm Vic, and I really enjoy Party Crashers and the AU community here on Tumblr so I thought it'd be cool if I info dumped about my own AU for these goobers :)

So basically, Eevee was just some normal not “cartoonily evil” inventor/scientist (expect he's in the same boat as Victor Frankenstein cuz he dropped out of his university) who was doing some funky experimentation on a star and it malfunctioned and fucking exploded in his face, successfully making the first Ztar and getting a shard of the Ztar stuck in his forehead that gave him powers and paused his aging but made him sorta go insane over time. It's very Ice King from Adventure Time.

One hundred and sixtynine years later, the Kingdom of Skill and the TCNation are years deep in their war with no sign of it ending anytime soon which is a big problem for Brent since he became king right about when funds were getting dangerously low.

Nick isn't suffering tho (surprisingly) he's just kinda twiddling his thumbs (im)patiently waiting for his father to just retire so he can actually put his plans into motion and win this 🎹ing war already.

Vernias is some sorta alien from a planet that looks just like a star, he's an angel looking ahh, who got bonked off the planet for some reason, the why doesn't really matter he's just on this fictional Earth now and is using his time to help people.

Shenanigans happen, Nick and Brent get framed or smth and are both told the only way they'll be allowed back to their old ranks is if they find something to win the war in their favor. They reluctantly travel together to at least find something that could work and then just fight over it when they finally find it.

Cue the rising up villain Sophist to corner them into an alleyway, cast a spoopy curse that marks the back of their hands with a purple star mark or smth. So the 3 of them are stuck with each other to get the curse removed by gaining like a FUCK TON of stars. I think the reason is because the only way to get stars is limited to parties of four ig.

o now Nick and Brent have to do a detour from their original mission but soon realize that stars are like the exact thing they could use to win the war. So they travel for like a block before shenanigans ensue again and Nick is fucking drowning. Luckily, or unlucky for a certain alien, Vern is in the area, hears the panic and goes to save Nick from being a dumbass and drowning to death (Despite Sophist’s half-assed warnings to not even lay finger on the toxic prince) Then Vern gets the Ztar Mark because it's transferred when the bearer’s skin and the transfer's skin are wet.

So now Vern’s a bit salty that he's kinda forced to tag along when he was *definitely* busy with other things. Like finding a way back to his own planet.

And that's about where the plot starts, it's more of a reimagination of their first videos together in this setting. 

Oh and also, the Ztar that “exploded” (and is their irl pfp) somehow became sentient and is like the main antagonist of this AU, they're a silly little guy who'd never commit any war crimes 😌 Sophist has his own shadow powers and spells cuz he's had the curse the longest and also has a piece of the 🎹ing star in his forehead. For the other 3 the Ztar Mark works like the Absolute Solver if you've watched Murder Drones (I really wanna get better at animating so I can put this AU on top of the prom fight of that show)

Anyway that's about it for the plot, I'll probably talk about the Crashier's powers, side characters, references, and just general headcanons in another post if this gets popular

Skill & Spill: Coffee Shop AU

I've been awfully quiet lately so let me just drop some notes for my Coffee Shop AU (which I call Skill & Spill for now. The Cafe is called "King's Roast" :3)

King of Soph and Tcvern3 centric cuz I can and love them ^-^

• Vernias and Brent work there and Eevee and Nick are regular costumers

• Eevee and Nick are friends already and hang out together a lot

• Brent sometimes takes night shifts (no one likes to take them because it's boring but Brent doesn't mind and it fits his schedule + it's chill and kinda free money)

• plus the cafe has like very good free wifi!! (Thanks to him)

• Brent and Vernias always biker when they work together.

• Brent always looks sleep-deprived while Vernias looks ready to yap to the costumers with a bright smile that is kinda contagious and lights up the entire cafe

• Brent is literally the CEO of eyerolls (idk why, he just seems always annoyed without intending to)

• Nick always enters the shop like he owns it and makes his presence known instanly if Vern and / or Brent are working ("HELLO FELLAS"😎🤗)

• Nick literally orders the same drink all the time (and it is one that Vernias himself made up for the Menu)

•^ Brent fucking despises it and makes it known all the time as he hates on it specifically

• Sophist and Brent play marvel rivals together online/see each other often in online games, but don't know each other irl (they see each other in the cafe but don't know they are the person they play with online. I stole this idea from the anon that send the ask because I LOVE it!! all credit to you anon!! This inspired a lot of this fic and King of Soph's relationship in it)

•^ I have so much to add to this but to put it short: Brent is a strategic try-hard and Eevee plays chaotically risky but they kinda are a very strong duo - but also often share one braincell (which is noticeable in the game-chats and sometimes when they do stupid / random stuff in-game)

• Sophist has a fav cake he orders often

• They are allowed to take leftovers home because the Cafe never throws stuff away and Vern gifts some baked goods/cake etc. to friends

• After Brent and Sophist become friends irl, Brent always takes leftovers from Sophist' fav cake home to give it to him (love language? Also huge contribution to Sophist catching feelings for Brent)

•^ spending time with Brent when they become friends irl helps Sophist' mental health significantly (ref to canon because I can)

• Brent loves to keep things neat and tidy in the cafe

• Vernias hates cleaning up but he loves organising/decorating stuff

• there is a silly pick up line on every cup Vern hands to Nick

• Eevee has an unhealthy caffeine intake (Vern and Brent are concerned) + his nightly coffees become more frequent over time (maybe also to see Brent)

• Vern doing art on the cappuccinos/latte with lots of care and love (Brent standing next to him and, rolling his eyes, telling him to "take your time, dude.")

• Nick's tip are very generous

•^ Vern liked it at first but when he notices that Nick is doing it on purpose so he can see, Vern starts to plafully roll his eyes whenever he tips.

• Brent being very interested in technology has resulted in him taking care of anything in regards to it in the cafe. The others often would be lost without him. Brent wonders how they managed anything before.

• Brent unironically loves the smell of freshly ground coffee beans

• Vern is responsible for the chalkboard menu (very colourful with some cute doodles like stars and cakes and coffee)

• Vern supports local artists as he suggested to hang some of their Art on the walls of the shop.

The village could be like the center of all the Nations/places! :D just a tiny Area where we all meet up often and spend time together / yap to each other<3

More yapping about RPF village bc I love it so dearly :3 I love how essentially we live in different places (Sophisticated Society, Kingdom of Skill, Vern Nation and the TCNation) and we just meet here time to time to talk about our ideas of fics and bounce off each other. That's all 4 now :3

Doomed yaoi but it once was the silly dreams of two teenage boys almost flunking college, spending their time up on the rooftops with their heads in each other's laps; Their legs hanging off of the sides of buildings, talking about their hopes for the future in what are now distant conversations. Doomed yaoi that, after going down separate paths in the past, eventually reconverged with one having gone astray, down a path of irreversible toxicity. Doomed yaoi that eventually ends in a conversation, minutes before a world that's inflicted nothing but hurt and pain on certain people falls apart.
