Hello!! Well, at the start I had just finished my specialization, and was searching for a job that would require what I know and where you would also learn more. That’s how I stumbled upon an opening to the ‘Diagnostic Medicine’ fellowship in PPTH. I went to the interview and immediately after leaving I could tell I wasn’t made for that type of work. Could not have lived so many more years if I was House’s subordinate.

I was heading to go home and look for a different hospital or practice when a woman stopped me and I turned around (it was Cuddy, but I didn’t know then, obviously). One thing led to another and I found myself in the immunology HOD’s office in an interview, answering questions.

I got called back the next day :)
