Bruce the Moose loves getting a little silly and playful from time to time, he is extra gentle with the kiddos though. He likes dancing, giving high fives, and his favorite are hugs. He only likes to pretend to push Billie Jean in the water ;)

Top 3 Winter Activities in Lake Geneva
Winter can be harsh in Southeastern Wisconsin. With sub-zero temperatures and multiple feet of snow and ice on the ground Bruce the Moose may be tempted to stay home and hibernate until spring. As tempting as is it to stay toasty warm inside your home, we dare you to come out and explore all there is to do during the winter at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark and Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. To help motivate you a little more here are our top four choices for having fun this winter.
1. Learn a new Snow Sport. The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva is the Midwest’s most family-friendly ski hill. With Learn to Ski or Snowboard packages, a friendly staff of certified instructors and learning programs all winter long, this is the perfect place to conquer the slopes together and learn at your own pace.
2. Take on the trails
Did you know that there is over 1,300 acres of Wisconsin Country side to explore at Grand Geneva? Take on the trails this winter with options like snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sleigh rides and horse back riding. Don’t worry, if you get too cold on the trails you can stop into Leinenkugel’s Mountain Top Lodge and warm up by the fireplace with an Irish Coffee or enjoy 1/2 price draft beers on Monday Mountains of Savings.
3. Warm up
Head over to Moose Mountain falls where is always a cozy 85 degrees. 35-foot-high slides take you on an epic 300-foot adventure of twists and turns. For a tamer ride, The Lazy River drifts more than 500 calm, relaxing feet. Climbing. Swimming. Going fast. The occasional run in with a moose. All in a day's play at Moose Mountain Falls!

4th of July Celebration
The 4th of July is right around the corner and Bruce is extra excited for the annual Lake Geneva Fourth of July Celebration and for all the new and exciting events we have planned!
Let's start with the Cool Water Cucumber Pool Bar. All weekend there will be a trio of red, white and blue cocktails. Choose from the Betsy Ross, the Firecracker or the Blue Bottle Rocket or really show your patriotic side and try all three!
On Independence Day enjoy special, July 4th rates on The Brute and The Highlands. Play a round on Wisconsin’s top-rated golf course in the morning for $89, then a second one for only $39. Book your tee time here or call (262)248-2556.
Visit the lakeside of the resort from 3 PM – 9 PM, before the fireworks start, for some family fun activities and entertainment. Enjoy a carnival midway, family lawn games, strolling entertainment and more. Have a snack or grab some dinner at the Grand Picnic, where you can enjoy a Leahy’s Bratwurst, the Official Brat of the 4th of July at Grand Geneva! (Check out Lake Geneva Country Meat's blog post to learn more about the official brat of the 4th of July). Don’t miss the live entertainment starting at 6:30 PM which includes a Color Guard, the National Anthem, the UW Marching Band, an appearance by Bucky Badger himself and live music by The Flamingos.
Finally, at dusk, the sky over Grand Geneva Resort & Spa will explode for our Independence Day Extravaganza! Bartolotta Fireworks will produce a radiating array of pyrotechnics from beautiful colors and loud booms to a heart pounding grand finale.
We will once again partner with the Lake Geneva Area Food Pantry by asking each attendee of the fireworks show to donate two non-perishable items that will be used to help the local community members in need. New this year, Lake Geneva Country Meats will be matching our donations with one pound of ground beef for each of the first 250 items donated.
See you on the 4th! Don't forget to find Bruce the Moose at the picnic!
