Being A Black Male
Being a black male is hard, our community is fucked up. Our people are fucked up. Nobody wants to wake up, point fingers at everyone except eachother. Black women love a good man but chase after the bad. Just to say all black men aren’t shit. This make black men turn heartless and for us who refuse to do so. We get picked on kinda like Rob Kardasian (too emotional, sensitive). Yet as a black male, everything is somehow my fault. As a black male who wants peace in the world, I’m looked down on by my own people. As a black male who believes that self expression is key, I get looked down on. How it feels to be the only black male who do realize that the problem is within and it takes us to step up and brake the chains that was locked by the white people. We do not need the key to open the lock because we are the key. We are strong enough to break the chains. What’s stopping us? Ignorance, arrogance, the need to impress the white people while in competition with eachother. It’s hard being a black male I swear. @thoughts-into-poemss
