Book two Daenerys design
Here she already has her piercings, switched most of her jewelery to gold and looks a little older. I think the shorter hair is what ages her a bit too.
I haven't thought of any particular reason for her switching the color of her jewelery other than just experimenting with her personal expression, which is a layer of realism I like to see characters have. The same goes for her still wearing those shoes. I don't know if that's an unpopular opinion, but I love to see characters repeat outfits. I think that also makes them feel more real and relatable in the sense of mundane things.

You know the Grimm version of Snow White makes more sense than most versions if only because in that version Snow White was like 7 years old.

Chocolate Yule Log (Bûche de Noël) Recipe below
Chocolate Yule Log (Bûche de Noël) Recipe
Ingredients
For the Cake:
• 4 large eggs
• 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup (30g) cocoa powder
• 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Filling:
• 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream
• 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Ganache Frosting:
• 1 cup (180g) dark chocolate, chopped
• 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
Decorations:
• Fresh cranberries
• Sprigs of rosemary or fir
• Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Make the Sponge Cake:
• Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 10x15 inch (25x38 cm) jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
• In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
• Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold gently until combined. Add vanilla extract.
• Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
• Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cake is set and springs back lightly when touched.
2. Roll the Cake:
• While the cake is still warm, turn it onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar.
• Carefully peel off the parchment paper and roll the cake up tightly with the towel. Let it cool completely.
3. Prepare the Filling:
• Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
• Gently unroll the cake and spread the filling evenly over it.
• Re-roll the cake without the towel and place it seam-side down.
4. Make the Ganache Frosting:
• Heat the heavy cream until it simmers, then pour it over the chopped chocolate.
• Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth. Let it cool slightly until thickened.
• Spread the ganache over the rolled cake, using a fork to create a “bark” texture.
5. Decorate:
• Garnish with fresh cranberries, rosemary sprigs, and a dusting of powdered sugar for a festive snowy effect.
Enjoy your Chocolate Yule Log!

What is honor compared to a woman’s love? What is duty against the feel of a newborn son in your arms… or the memory of a brother’s smile? Wind and words. Wind and words. We are only human, and the gods have fashioned us for love. That is our great glory, and our great tragedy.
Jon Snow - and family that haunts him, because sometimes ghosts make for the best love stories.

Finished just in time for the solstice. A little unbalanced in composition because frankly I had just been fucking around and hadn’t planned to turn it into an official project. Oops.
