i dont think i’ll get asked to hoco again. like looking at dresses was depressing bc all i remembered was me watching all my friends dancing with their dates and i act like i was fine with it but i was only 50% ok with it. it was embarrassing having all the 8th graders ask me if i got a date the day of and prior to hoco. i just want a guy who isn’t a fucking creep to ask me. i want the cute guys to like me. i feel like a lowkey outcast in our friend group bc i’m not dating someone and everyone says “oh it’s ok to be single” but it’s annoying watching everyone date someone while ur the odd one out.

my crush and sent random pictures (like selfies) to each other through snapchat for two days. then he ignored me but continued to flirt with me at school (didn’t say a word to me but actions) then he stopped flirting and just started to stare at me. during study hall he would, in the halls, at lunch.

i did this thing. i would give myself a date. and if i didnt get something done or if something didn’t happen before a certain time i would just give up on it. i did that with my crush.

if something didn’t happen between me and my crush before a certain date i would give up on him and move on to another guy.

it is probably the least toxic thing i’ve done to myself

i dont get how my friends can easily say “God will send a person when the time is right” they don’t know what it’s like to be alone while everyone is in relationships
