Ight imma head out

Yea it's about time for me to go y'all. I've been here since like 2017-2018, made a comeback in 2022, so I've put in a lot of time. We had a good run. I had a lot of fun and made a lot of memories during my time here, but that joy has been dwindling for quite some time. I was holding out for a long while, waiting to see if my interest would come back, if that drive and spark to write for kpop would return. But it hasn't, and in light of recent dealings with both the fandom and the industry itself, I think it's time for me to move on. I'll still listen to my faves and support from afar, maybe even go to a concert or two when I can. But as far as being intrenched in the community and posting writing for kpop, those days are over.

The community online has been dwindling. Fan culture, engagement that isn't just ragebait or disingenuous virtue signaling, and basic (and I do mean basic) fandom etiquette have all become a lost art. I've gotten tired of it all. I got shit to do with my life. I've done my time, and I'm not finding joy in posting writing for kpop anymore. Most of the people I considered fandom friends and pillars of what made the tumblr community great left or are on hiatus or are otherwise inactive. Bout time for me to go too. I've just gotten so disconnected from fandom that it's clear this isn't the place for me anymore.

You may have noticed that all my posts are gone. I was debating on keeping them up, but frankly, I don't trust people. There's too many plagiarists, too many bitches into AI, too many people who wanna do who knows what with your work. And if I can help it, I'm not about to let it happen to mine. That's another reason why I'm leaving. The insurgence of AI has made participating in fandom an even more hellish experience, and I don't want any parts of it.

Take care of yourselves, and in an environment that's becoming more hateful and hostile by the day, carve out a space that's safe for you.
